    This is what the Dems suggested in the first place. So instead of making a compromise, the President stole the money from our soldiers and veterans.

    No excuse just fact. Democrats stopped every other source of funding for the wall so Trump finally did as he had threatened to do for a very long time. Interesting though how democrats who historically love cutting defense spending for social programs are suddenly outraged by moving a very tiny percentage of defense spending to protect our border.

    So called compromise was amnesty for border security. Reagan called that his biggest mistake and fortunately Trump learned from that mistake otherwise he'd have been Peanuts falling in his ass as Lucy once again yanks the ball out from under him.

    Campaign rhetoric is generally inflated rhetoric and most of us new Mexico will pay for it would be easier said than done. Building the wall was the crux of the promise and Trump is keeping that promise.
    Compare that to Obama lying to us about his healthcare plan " you like your doctor you can keep him" or his stimulus "shovel ready jobs" that he later laughed about as he used the funds to pay off unions and teachers and Democrat politicians. You don't care! Color me shocked!

    Republicans had nothing to do with diverting military funds in order to protect our border. That's all on democrats and their partisan obstruction tactics
