Look at all of the Americans who came home from Irak and Vietnam and Cambodia and Laos and Somalia and Grenada and the shopping mall and the post office and kindergarten and primary school and junior high school and high school and college and university and the candy store and church and synagog and gas station and convenient store and hamburger joint and grocery store - they are all alive thanks to someone with a gun to protect them! I haven't got any statistics but according to the gun-nuts, it must be in the tens of gazillions! Maybe hundreds of gazillions!

 

Actually white people equate to 61.5% of mass shooters, that is pretty close to the percentage of white people in the United States. The disparity is with black mass shooters. You represent 18% of the shootings despite only making up 12% of the population.

So it's disproportionately black people that make up mass shooters.

Every American should own and carry a gun because we know that Americans are not prone to murder, and all they want is to protect everyone else.

I can't imagine living in town anymore. We have ten acres in the mountains. We hear a lot of gun shots up here but it gives a guy a warm fuzzy because it's usually a neighbor target practicing. It's quiet and it's expected by the sheriff's department that a good amount of people carry are armed. Suspicious situations have a way of getting cleared up pretty fast. It can take the sheriff up to an hour and a half to get a car up here.
