Why are you ignoring all the videos of the police desperately trying to deescalate it? Are you denying they placed him in the vehicle to deescalate it so he would be comfortable while awaiting the ambulance and that Floyd escalated it by starting to resist again and fighting with the police? Are you denying the witness was telling Floyd to deescalate and stop fighting with the police? Are you denying the police choose to keep him on the ground to deescalate it by not trying to force him back into the vehicle and starting another fight? Are you denying they were telling him to calm down, to relax and stop struggling?

 

he did no such thing, he spent 9 long minutes killing him... it was murder, the jury got it right

most people could see how wrong that cop was

 

He DID resist a lot of the time and complaining of breathing difficulties from the start, a classic sign of the drug overdose.

 

yet the cop chose to keep his knee on his neck for 9 minutes, that is murder

 

The trial showed that the knee was mainly over his shoulders unto the back of his neck (Still photos showed this), if it was really on the neck itself he would have passed out in 10-20 SECONDS! But he was moving for around 6-7 minutes of the time.

I do not think the trial proved beyond a shadow of doubt that the knee killed him, he was packed with drugs, bad heart and circulatory system as clear confounding factors.

if this was a 9 min video of a man doing this to his handcuffd girlfriend, I think everyone would see the truth

Police need to be trained to de-escalate, not see everything as requiring force. Currently they seem to think everyone is a threat to their safety, even an overweight, elderly woman. Being angry should not be a defense for police violence. How would one of these cops feel about someone tossing their mother on the ground.

Conservatives supporting the police need to understand the same police they support will be increasingly targeting them. Particularly at the Federal level.

that is not how this works, every time the cop moved and released some pressure, a little blood could flow, it was the 9 long minutes that added up to his death

 

You offer no evidence (made it up) and it is silly anyway since people with serious circulatory problems don't recover fast at all, his death was ruled a CARDIAC arrest.

Sigh, nowhere did I dispute the murder charge, what I said was the his CAUSE of death isn't 100% settled based on the evidence, I have a doubt in what the CAUSE of the death is.

So, the more irritated the police get with you, the greater they should be enabled to commit bodily harm?

I wont defend the lady's actions. But just being difficult doesn't and shouldn't automatically a police officer to escalate force. I work with plenty of difficult people I would LOVE if that policy worked where I work. But it doesn't. Why do so many people have this idea that police shouldn't be held accountable for their actions because their job can be difficult?

 

Again, being annoying and difficult shouldnt automatically mean an ass whooping. Why dooes one side have to be right here and one side has to be wrong? Why cant they both be wrong?

They can both be wrong but you know they are trying to make this "racial" and it isn't racial. The cops would do the same thing to a white person. Feel free to test it by speeding and then ignoring cops for 10 miles and see if they just act all casual by the time they get to you.
