I'm not sure a piece from a site called "Freedom from Religion" is a reliable source for facts on this subject.

However, as evidenced by the shameful activities by clergy in the Catholic Church, there does appear to be a tiny percentage of people in positions of authority in organized religion who appear to prey on young people.

What is particularly transparent and disgusting, is to create these false narratives about people of faith in general. Only the weak minds of the intellectually vacant would agree with the message behind such efforts. I suppose when one operates in abject fear, it's easy to go along with such efforts.

Superstition and crime. That' an interesting connection. I was in one of those new age bookstores one time and over heard a "reading", if you will, taking place in a small room behind the row of books I was looking at. I listen astounded that whoever this guy was talking to might actually believe the cr*p he was pushing. I waited to see who was involved, when they came out, the reader, around 26, 7, years old, looked he had spent his teen years in jail. The lady, victim, was about 50 or so. I must admit, she looked like a willing victim, and this looked like an ongoing relationship. I wonder how much he was charging her? I might add that the reason I was in there was because the bookstore was in such a rural setting I got curious.

Yet they will absolve people like Hillary til the cows come home because she was not charged. Let me spell it out for you so that a 5 year old understands.
