    I'm trying to think of a country that has attacked the US mainland since WWII.
    9/11 doesn't count because there were attackers from at least two countries (USA and Israel :D)

    Seriously, I can't think of a single country that has attacked the US on its home ground.

    Can you come up with one?

    Britain, War of 1812 I believe was the last time.

    Not since WWII.

    Although technically our Embassy's are considered American soil so you could include a bunch of those if you wanted.
