A Key Point Regarding the Jul. 25th Trump-Zelensky Call

My impression is that the US aid is more like a store gift card - you get to “buy” things from the store on that card, but can’t really use it elsewhere.
I don’t think it’s loans, it’s actual money (grants), but that money stays in the United States.
The US aid is indirect subsidy to the US military Industrial Complex complex.

 

If words don't matter...if reality isn't real...then the OP has a point.

Unfortunately for him words DO matter and reality is ...well....real.

Zelensky talked about the aid that was promised and Trump almost immediately went into the "ask".

They were connected. We saw it. With our own lying eyes.

Reality is real

And various witnesses and text messages confirm that there absolutely was a several month long campaign along those same lines

 

Did he? That is my question. I think that we can assume that "great support" includes monetary aid; but to what extent? Then Zelensky pivots to buying missiles; reportedly with their own money. Only then does Trump respond.

 

He did...and we all saw it...along with all the witness testimony and all the e-mails and texts that say the same thing
