My grandfather was the same way. He did not have any internet nor TV at first. He railed against the Radio and when grandma got a TV, he thundered against that too. The man despised Republicans. He ended his days partly paralyzed and had suffered a major stroke. I keep expecting to learn the OP has a stroke too. Very very angry all the time.

Why did Obama give Israel the cold shoulder and refuse to do as he said when he was a candidate? Obama said in speeches that Jerusalem is the named capital of Israel and is not to be divided. This is a bit more of a step than Obama took who did not ask for it to not be divided.

It never ceases to amaze me that Trumpers prefer their president to bash the FBI, the U.N., his own State Department, ALL free press, and basically everyone who questions his idiotic administration rather than see him live answering questions. It is clear that they do not want to know the answers, and frankly, I don’t blame them. They are afraid of what he will say, and they would rather not know.

That is not a logical, reasonable or ethical argument. Is that what you teach your kids? If your kid's friend robs a mini-mart, it is okay for him to do it too? Is that how you lead your life? Your co-worker steals from the company so it is okay for you to do it too? We are talking about Trump's behavior, not some speculative behavior on anyone else's part. Get it?

 

They sure do. OMG do they. They have no real defense of Trump's behavior, so no matter what the discussion is about, they deflect away from him and attack Clinton, Obama, or some other democrat. They also attack Republicans: Bush, Mueller, McCain, etc. It's astounding the loyalty to the orange clown: it defies all reason.

 

He's like a worm. He says all kinds of hideous, critical things about our intelligence agencies, our military, our law enforcement agencies, other allies, the UN, former presidents, the free press, other Republicans--just bashes and bashes, but ON TWITTER. Like the skulking wormy individual he is. But he can't face the press in an open press conference. What a pathetic joke he is for a president.

There is no comparison between Obama and Trump. You are grasping at straws because you have no defense for Trump. In the first year of Obama's presidency, he had 7 press conferences. Trump has had one. One. No comparison. In fact, in the first year of his presidency, Obama had more press conferences than GW, Reagan, Ford and Nixon. We are talking in this thread about a president holding press conferences. That is the topic. Trump has held less than any of those I have just mentioned. He is AFRAID to deal with the press. Afraid.
