Does that sound far fetched to you? Money talks in this country, and the government, all three branches are for sell to the highest bidder. Nothing else explains the shape of this country and level of corruption that exists.

 

Laugh up but they control more of what goes on in their neighborhoods than the police do, and they sure as hell have help in the government keeping them viable. There is no other excuse for their existence other than the political powers they have at their disposal.

 

Gosh....I hope the mayor or governor doesn't come out and tell the truth.....that the town's first armed robbery was committed by a black person.....that would be racisssssss. Better yet, the news media should put out a bulletin saying 'we want the public's help in catching this person' and fail to identify the race.....but mention he 'had on a blue shirt and was driving a red car'. That's generally the way it goes here in Atlanta or the NAACP will show up at the media outlet and threaten a protest, etc.

 

I mean I know corruption exists here, but my mind is thinking of Mexico where drug dealers basically own the government, like how officials end up getting killed in their own homes.
