    A Virus
    is just a Protein Envelope surrounding some genetic material
    such as DNA or RNA with genetically matches host cell structures.

    Like the "Alien" creature,
    might they change genetically with new host options?

    Soap and water - you bet.

    But, social distancing is critical. Rubbing your face with virus soaked hands is only one method of contracting a viral infection. For example, those in meat packing plants get infected because of proximity.
