<Mod Edit> WHY can't you answer : ""What major holiday did they appropriate?"" YOU made a claim and can't think of even ONE "major holiday " Native Americans appropriated???? LOL! I can think of one major country that white people appropriated.... Now, back to the topic (which isn't me)....the asinine topic which has no relevance to real life...
how would you feel is a law was passed that required all men to have their testicles removed, once they'd left sperm samples (this way they could procreate if so desired), after all what's good for the woman is good for the man right? That way all children who were born were ones who were wanted.
@FoxHastings there are some people with whom you cannot rationalize with because they are so clouded in their vision, therefore attempting any rational discussion with them is basically useless.
gamewell45 just described his own writings. A woman generally has control over termination issues within the law. Those who have trouble with that are way out there.
FoxHastings is trying to edit what I am writing to get what he wants. No, I won't play that. And the grand kids went out as Indian and samurais. What is your problem? Cultural appropriation goes in all directions.
Whatever, you played off it, so you own it. You have trouble that culture goes in all directions. Get over it. The extremists on every side are so boring.
Come on Jake; your not going to change my position on abortion and my position is: if you don't believe in abortion, then don't have one, plain and simple. It's easier then you think.
But that's not really fair to the women who choose not to get abortions. Think of it this way, it's sort of like the minimum wage. How about if you don't want to work for less than minimum wage, don't work for less than minimum wage. How does that logic work for you? No, the reality is that creating the choice, in some circumstances, can actually open up the door to exploitation. Not only are many women coerced into getting abortions, because it's as easy as driving her down to the nearest clinic, but women who choose to do the right thing at great trouble to themselves then have to compete with other women who cheated the game.
Whoever said that anything was fair in this world? If you are 18 years old, you're an adult and you live by your decisions right or wrong as the case may be. You live and learn from your mistakes and you move on with your life and hope you don't make the same mistake again whether it's to carry a fetus to full term or have an abortion as the case may be. Using your analogy, if I don't want to work for less then minimum wage I'll organize under a union and together as a group work to cause us to work for at least minimum wage while those who do not go it themselves. The same goes for abortion; those women, who as a group seek to have an abortion should be able to have one should they choose just as those who do not believe in abortion should not have one. Finally, as a man, I can tell you that if society tried to tell me what to do with my body, they'd find me very quickly uncooperative with them.
You are certainly entitled to add your opinion to this thread. Isn't it nice that you have such positive thoughts?
IF women are FORCED to gestate THAT is exploitation. NOW, instead of running away, for a change present the FACTS about those "many" women forced to get abortions.....for ONCE show some proof of the garbage you spew. Getting an abortion is not "cheating the game" .....good GAWD! You always top yourself in absurdities...
Unless it's for medical reasons, then she's self-involved and degenerate. Simply carry the baby to term and adopt it away, at least giving it a chance at life.
I'm just saying, if you've already given life, it's too late to yank it back. Just continue to row the boat to get that baby safely out of there so it can go up for adoption. And please don't use the excuse "It will be hard to find anyone who wants to adopt" unless the baby you're carrying is going to be hard to adopt. Normal healthy white babies go like that **snap** and there's plenty of takers. But a lot of women would rather deceive themselves and rationalize it like there'd be no family that would take their child.
Do you honestly think that over 600,000 newborns would be adopted per year? Are you aware of the cost involved to the taxpayers? Most people are already complaining that we are overtaxed as it is, so it's reasonable to assume that not many would agree with your viewpoint on this issue.
