ABC Enrages NFL Viewers With Anti-Trump ‘Black-ish’ Promo

Never heard of this show before now, but I don't watch mainstream TV. Is there a show called White-ish? How about Brown-ish? Yellow-ish?

 

That's what they get for watching football.

 

Trina Solar is a chi-com company. It's profits are used to manufacture weapons to be used to kill American soldiers, Marines, sailors and airmen in the near future.

You'd kinda think that dealing with the Kaepernick Imbroglio and its effect on NFL ratings might give some pause. Since it isn't, you have to wonder if perhaps someone is trying to cause the NFL's ratings and value to drop faster than a liberal triggered by Trump's name in chalk on the sidewalk.

Let's face it, at least some of the charm of sports is the fact that, up until this point, it's been mostly apolitical. You root for one team against the other, and that's that. But throw politics into it, and boom - now you're in danger of losing half (if not more) of your audience. Does the name "Dixie Chicks" bring up any memories to some people that really ought to know better? Hey, it's not like I watch much TV anymore, but you'd think someone in charge would know better than to pull this. *shrugs* - whatever.

The "lazy" quote was second hand, so could be true or a lie, either one. Whether you choose to believe it or not is more a reflection of your own mind - like bistable perception. That's why I tend to presume those who keep accusing everyone of being racists are seeing them through their own racist mind.

Trump says stuff I don't agree with, but I don't find it offensive, necessarily: just because he criticized someone who happens to have dark skin, it doesn't mean he's a racist. I think it means he's critical. Are you saying that blacks can't tolerate criticism? I thought we were all created equal.

You'll have to back that up with a link. I've never seen it in print from a republican, or the accusation made by MSM against anyone but the Trump supporters, nor has any Republican politician heaped the names on the Democrats.

Calling someone a racist is like calling them a murderer - one better have some solid evidence. But because so many people on the left are so cozy and comfortable with the word, it looks like they are wrapping themselves up in it and owning it.

The "progressives" are imploding, and in the process there will be collateral damage such as the politicized NFL taking a hit to its ratings (revenue).

It will sort itself out. The NFL will learn its lesson, as its revenue takes hit the NFL will drop its political pandering and go back to its purpose in life - football.

 

I tend to boycott anything that becomes politicized when that isn't their economic purpose. For example, there was no need for Macy's and Target to take sides in the election. Their job is to sell rags. Shuddup and sell. So I don't shop there any longer.
Same with actors. What idiots they are at the Golden Globes - instead of saying something interesting, they use the spotlight to bash Trump. Who cares... now I don't want to see them anymore because they've broken the magic. She's not Margaret Thatcher now, she's some rude and narcissistic airhead. She should shuddup and perform.

If I had channel surfed upon it I would have just assumed it was a re-run of "Martin".

They're vastly over represented in the U.S public sector. They were given preferential treatment when it comes to federal civil servants employees. Statistics do not lie. Nothing to do with the race. Blacks have very little reasons to complain about inequality these days. It's hypocritical.

 

It's a foolish, juvenile show.

I'm sure it will be off the air in a few months.
