www.newsbusters.org/blogs/scott-whi...ter-climate-change-june#.VXxAkspg1LA.facebook So New York is supposed to be underwater? It isn't under water but their mayor is quite the wet blanket. What is it with these global warming, I mean climate change folks? Do they believe in science or is this more of a religion to them? The climate has been changing since the beginning of time. There have been ice ages and warming trends long before carbon emissions. Besides if the name has to be changed from global warming to climate change just to be accurate then how real can it be to begin with? Those who support this notion seem to be relying less on science and more on the liberal religion.
lol Fear mongering. NYC will not be under water anytime soon. Nobody's going to come for your guns either people.
The "brilliant" scientists predicted the Scottish ski industry will cease to exist within 20 years, here we are 11 years later and they have more snow than they've had in 69 years. The original article highlights "Top 5 failed snow free and ice free predictions", but there are many more. Is it any wonder none of the brilliant "Scientists" won't to commit to more than "most likely" or "more than likely" man made when it comes to Warming? Any wonder folks don't believe them?
These climate change folks discredit themselves by making lame predictions. It would be different if they were like me and were correct about many things.
New York under water this year? I'd say there's a better chance of Marty and Doc Brown arriving this October.
You would think so, but Paul Ehrlich is still revered after making his lame predictions. http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/paul-ehrlich-even-worse-new-york-times-says-he_962990.html
I pointed out how ridiculous this shows predictions were years ago on here. Check out time index 6:45: So, one of the many things this show failed to predict was that technology, once again, found a way to make the pie bigger. The show failed to anticipate that oil shale, previously unusable, can now be exploited thanks to new technological breakthroughs. As a result, not only do we NOT have high gas prices, but the US is actually on target to become a net exporter(!) by 2020. The internet never forgets. You can only cry wolf so many times before people are going to start calling bullsh*t. Liberals, THIS is why we don't take you seriously. This is why no one is hopping on the Global Warming bandwagon anymore. There's a price to be paid when you deliberately exaggerate.
this so-called prediction lasted less than a second. and btw, lots of NYC was under water during Hurricane Sandy.
