True......… but.......... let's face it............. each of us ultimately answers for our own decisions........ so when a mother decides to abort her fetus.... she will answer for her decision.........… When a doctor decides to abide by the decision of the mother...… that doctor will also answer for their decision to go along with the woman's decision....... even if their own conscience is saying that in this particular case this is a terrible decision.
Wow you guys cannot find a solution. This is easy! 1. The Woman does not want her child, the child would be a burden on society, taking up taxpayer money, and probably a whole load of food stamps for Moms who would probably be unemployed. 2. Make the Women give birth. 3. Kill the Baby. via lethal injection. It would be painless unlike the painful bloody extraction of abortion. Boom. The Conservative get what they want. The Liberals get what they want. The nation gets what it wants. The Woman is gets what she wants. The Woman although suffering from extreme pain, gets to go on with her life, go to college. The pain will be a reminder what dirty slut she is and she probably won't be sleeping around with other dudes from a while. We did not violate the woman's pro choice. Society is happy it doesn't have to hand out another food stamp for a stinking peasant who probably should have studied harder in High School. Who's with me?
Abortion should be legal, but it shouldn't be allowed to do it too late as that would essentially be murder. There should be no public funding for it.
There are untold positions on the subject, and beyond the opinion pool contained within this forum; there are many more extreme stances than I've seen on this thread. The Pope (Believe it was the Pope that Abdicated, Benedict XVI) forbade the use of condoms, so some are completely against the idea of preventing life to spawn whatsoever, and many are in favor of the woman's right to choose, at any stage. I believe the question is, when an unborn fetus is considered human. I certainly don't think it's morally corrupt to abort in the early stages of the pregnancy, I believe as others said, that should the child be born in unfortunate circumstances, it would be just, if not more-so, cruel than to end the process painlessly when the child remains in the womb. As to the subject of Government funding, I don't think that it should be upon taxpayers to foot the bill for a couple's promiscuous and mistaken actions, so not in favor of that. My 2 cents.
