The Miami Herald reported, "An American Airlines mechanic was arrested Thursday on a sabotage charge accusing him of disabling a navigation system on a flight with 150 people aboard before it was scheduled to take off from Miami International Airport earlier this summer.

"The reason, according to a criminal complaint affidavit filed in Miami federal court: Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani, a veteran employee, was upset over stalled union contract negotiations."

Ok bring the facts an actual case along supportive backup info that proves that the MSM that "assumes any White guy who shoots more than 4 people is a white supremacist". Right now all you have brought to this table is an allegation.

 

First one I checked was the Gilroy CA shooter, whose frequenting of "far right" sites was highlighted. Of course, far right doesn't just mean Stormfront anymore. It includes Breitbart, the Daily Caller and the Daily Wire.

Second one I checked was the Vegas shooter. I see no allegations of racism there.

Third and fourth I checked were El Paso and Dayton. I see nothing in the reporting of any white supremacist component of Dayton. The El Paso shooter was targeting Mexicans, but I suspect that's xenophobia and hypernatioalism as much as racism.

In any event, Tume Magazine "reports" that

So we know exactly what Pred is talking about; he is more right than wrong, though generalizing is dangerous in both sides.

 

I read Pred's remarks as that the MEDIA calls these events White Nationalist acts as a matter of course. If that was true it would be a gross generalization. The quote from Time saying that "experts" ( whatever the Fornication that means) did say " increasingly" which indicates a trend not a definitive constant. The El Paso killer did seem to hate him some immigrants and illegals but he seemed to conflate immigrants with illegals the latter being criminals not immigrants. Thank you for being honest and rational. That is the way we should debate.

 

If you can’t admit the pattern of searching for white supremacy or racism where it often doesn’t exist than I don’t know what to tell you. You’ve been living in another planet since 08.

American Airlines mechanic who allegedly sabotaged plane has ISIS ties, prosecutor says

A Miami aircraft maintenance worker who allegedly tampered with an American Airlines plane over the summer has possible terrorist ties with the Islamic State, prosecutors said in court Wednesday.

Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani, 60, is being held without bond after a judge ruled that Alani posed a flight risk after prosecutors argued that the mechanic had a brother who was a member of ISIS.

Alani, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Iraq who has worked as an airline mechanic for 30 years, allegedly had ISIS propaganda on his phone, Assistant U.S. Attorney Maria Medetis said. A video depicting people being shot was allegedly sent from his phone. Alani also told the individual he sent the video to that he wanted Allah to cause harm to non-Muslims, prosecutors say.

American Airlines mechanic Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani was arrested a couple weeks ago after sabotaging the navigation system of a flight to Nassau with 150 passengers on board.

USA Today reported:

A federal judge cited new evidence of potential terrorism sympathies in denying bail for a mechanic charged with sabotaging an American Airlines jetliner.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Chris McAliley imposed pretrial detention for 60-year-old Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani at Wednesday’s hearing.

The new evidence presented by prosecutors includes that Alani, a veteran mechanic who worked for American since 1988, has a brother in Iraq who may be involved with the Islamic State extremist group as well as statements Alani made about wishing harm on non-Muslims.

Alani is a naturalized U.S. citizen from Iraq.
