63% non-Hispanic white in the US.

Notice anything interesting over the last few decades? All of these countries are seeing heightened racial and cultural tensions as the percentage of whites goes down and others take their place. This is what happens when you force people who are different to live in close proximity to one another.

So, I'm still waiting on examples of how heterogeneous countries are a source of strength for a country, because I'm not seeing any right now. Right now, you are only helping me prove my point.

People of the same race born in the same country who speak the same language. Please don't try that approach. You know exactly what I am saying.

Do you understand the difference between culture and race? I gave you the UK, France, Canada and the US. In fact most of the EU is multicultural. This is too easy

    - - - Updated - - -

That is your definition of culture? Not even close. lol

No, you are making yourself look like a child by failing to make the most basic inferences and avoiding the truth that is plainly in front of you. Talk to me about how different my culture is from a white guy living in Kansas--is this where you are going? Pathetic. Do not think that trying to play around with semantics is going to save you. You know damn well that white people in the UK speaking the same language and sharing a history DEFINITELY constitutes a cultural grouping. If homogeneity has any meaning at all, then one could say that they are MORE homogeneous, not LESS homogeneous.

Look I am using the standard definition of the word

    culture
the beliefs, customs, arts, etc., of a particular society, group, place, or time.

You are the one that wants to use this SPECIAL definition that works just for you. Stop being silly.

Poland was the most multicultural country in Europe until the 1940's.

    What did that get Poland?

    Chaos?

Ukrainians slaughtering their Polish neighbors in Wolyn Massacre.

German neighbors slaughtering their Polish neighbors in Operation Tannenberg?

Lithuanian neighbors slaughtering their Polish neighbors in the Ponary Massacre?

Jews, and Belarussians slaughtering their Polish neighbors in Skidel Revolt, or the Massacre of Brzostowica Mała?

Or the Jewish Soviets like Salomon Morel, and Jakub Berman who were slaughtering Polish?

This is an example right here. The post isn't racist or bigoted, but it generalizes about minorities. Generalizations can be root causes of bigotry.

Yes, and traditional nation-states contain those things. It's called a set within a set. Do you understand how that works?

Bull. Context is important for every topic. Racism doesn't get a pass "just because."

How can a person ever get to the truth of something if they can always just trash the credibility of the person making the argument? At some point, you have to separate the argument from the person. If we only like arguments that come from people we like, we aren't going to learn very much.

The hypocrisy is simply stunning, one who fights for multiculturalism Liberalism, and racial equality, thinks it's okay to bash Polish.

Polish achieved a lot more than Blacks, Muslims, or Hispanics by a long shot.

Poland was the leader in European science during the Renaissance, but that changed when the Cossacks living in Poland's territory had started killing millions of Polish, while inviting in the Russians, a decision that killed 4 million Polish, including many of it's best, and brightest.

So, yeah multiculturalism is just wonderful. LOL

We all just get along fine.

I can't believe there's such stupidity out there.

You're as insufferable in this thread as you are in every other. Standard, brainwashed person who can't make simple inferences about the most basic things. We are going to go all the way back to the beginning so that I can make this more clear for you.

It is better for people to get along than to not get along. People will tend to get along with those who are more similar than less similar. For instance, we don't get along because WE ARE DIFFERENT. Making any sense? So, when you increase the number of people who don't agree with one another, or create more division, you will get MORE CONFLICT. Do you think you would get along better with people who agree with you more, or less? There are different ways of determining how similar people are to one another, both at the micro and macro level. Those differences tend to congregate racially because of geography and history, though there are other points of differences. So it is certainly possible for white people who speak the same language and who live in the same country to have different cultural practices. It is a given that no two people will ever agree on everything, but GENERALLY SPEAKING, people who are MORE SIMILAR will get along better.

Do you still not understand this most basic truth?

Not sure what you're getting at ricky. I'm just saying that you can't discount context just because the subject is race. Context is everything.

As an avid George Carlin fan, context does in fact matter, yes. The word "(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)" isn't inherently racist, it's how it's used.

You are talking about interpersonal relations. I am talking about the strength of a country. Clearly the most successful countries are multicultural. The diversity is a strength nationally. The evidence is in.....sorry. lol

I guess that's the difference between me an a lot of people. I will listen to anyone, regardless of their moral positions, if they are making good points. The Chinese are brutal in some contexts, but that doesn't stop me from appreciating many of the things they do right. Liberals drive me insane, but it doesn't stop me from acknowledging when they make a good point, like with campaign finance.

Frankly, I just don't care about a person's moral character, or lackthereof, when it comes to abstract beliefs.

I just want an America where everyone is treated equally, where we don't have to walk around on eggshells in fear of a lawsuit stemming from some foolish "micro aggression".
