Regrets: Trump would beat Biden today, more women and blacks support. “The Dems pursued a win at all costs strategy, the most ruthless of our lifetime. Fascinating to watch that bill mount, and how fast it is coming due. … unexpectedly.” Ugly.
You would bring all our forces back here within our borders. That's your plan to keep peace and security in the world in which we live. Because you know the Russians and the Chinese will do so too and all the Islamic Jihadist will convert to Christianity and there will be peace in the world. If we aren't going to be the police force for liberty and freedom they who will be, there are plenty out there who want to be the bad guys.
He set a date for an unconditional withdrawal, you seen to be having some difficulty with what happened here. And this is HIS show, even his own advisers are letting it be known they had advised against it and that Biden has not authorized the force they need to do the job and therefore Americans are on their own. ""We had a model where we'd made clear what our red lines were," Pompeo went on. "We'd made clear the things we were prepared to do to defend them. We could have executed a plan in a way that would have led to the orderly withdrawal." "We would have demanded that the Taliban actually deliver on the conditions that we laid out in the agreement - including the agreement to engage in meaningful power sharing agreement - something that we struggled to get them to do but made clear it was going to be a requirement before we completed our requirement to fully withdraw," he said. https://www.newsweek.com/mike-pompeo-trump-admin-afghanistan-taliban-biden-1619968 Now stop trying to blame Biden's decisions on Trump.
You keep bringing up the "unconditional withdraw" and insinuating that it's an "anything goes" deal. It just means that we aren't going to use our troops as bargaining chips in any negotiations. Trump never had a "done deal", hell he didn't even include the Afghan government. So seem to believe that Biden will turn a blind eye to the Taliban harming American troops and citizens. That's a really uninformed outlook.
Yes I keep bringing up the facts. Biden gave up everything and has created this total disaster. Even the CNN reporter on the ground this morning reporting she had not seen a single plane take off in over 8 hours. Reports the Taliban is going door to door and if they find NATO forces allies or sympathizers they are hanging them in the streets. Yes it was an unconditional withdrawal, unprepared, did not consult with the NATO force commanders or governments, you DO KNOW Afghanistan is a NATO operation, leaving their citizens and troops in danger along with our own.
Really, you keep bringing up facts? Who are you and what happened to Bluesguy? Biden didn't give up anything. "Did not consult with NATO force commanders or governments"...that's a statement that can't be taken seriously, at all. So now we are also responsible for ALL NATO troops. You're just throwing crap out there to see what sticks. You seen to think that this whole procedure happened overnight. I'm pretty sure it was widely know to be coming.
"The Republicans have to get tougher. You're not going to have a Republican Party if you don't get tougher. They want to play so straight. They want to play so 'Sir, yes, the United States Constitution doesn't allow me to send them back to the States.' Well, I say, yes it does, because the Constitution says you have to protect our country and you have to protect our Constitution and you can't vote on fraud. And fraud breaks up everything, doesn't it? When you catch somebody in a fraud, you're allowed to go by very different rules. So I hope Mike has the courage to do what he has to do, and I hope he doesn't listen to the rhinos and the stupid people he's been listening to. " It wasn't Trump's call to determine fraud. That is the job of state election officials and the state and federal law enforcement people and the judicial system...not a mob storming the Capitol. But, very clearly, he is telling the crowd, its Pence's job not to go by the Constitution or U.S. statute law, but by "very different rules."
Why are NATO countries stating they were not consulted and were blind sided? Why didn't Biden take the call from the British Prime minister and took almost two days to call him back and then only because his spokesperson had admitted he had not spoken with ANY NATO country leaders or ANY leaders? Biden gave up everything including billions in our military equipment he did not order destroyed and has yet to order any airstrikes to destroy that equipment.
I doubt Pompeo consulted with our "NATO partners" as well...who were probably focused on whether or not Trump would overthrow our government. But...we can always call upon Pompeo to testify under oath, in regard to what consultations were accomplished...as well as the people in the Biden administration.
Your self serving "doubts" refute nothing nor excuse nothing. Pompeo doesn't need to be called he's not a part of this, Blinken, Austin, Milley, Harris and Biden need to be called
"WHEN THE PRESS IS CALLING OUT A DEMOCRAT, IT’S A BAD SIGN": Multiple reporters call BS on Biden for saying Americans are able to get to the Kabul airport. https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/469001/ They are positioning in case of the blood bath Biden has made Americans so vulnerable to, occurs. If it doesn't, after Americans are evacuated, they can start tracking back to a position more supportive of Biden. Biden is completely unfit for office and needs to resign.
These questions are a joke right? NOW you care about what NATO countries think about us consulting them? Are you worried that Johnson's feeling are hurt? I'm confused on the equipment problem. We only had 2500 troops there yet billions in equipment? Are you sure that the equipment wasn't what we sold to the Afghan "army"? You remember them, our NATO allies.
Trump's Own Security Adviser Blames Him For Taliban Surrender Former Trump National Security Adviser blasts Pompeo's Taliban peace deal H.R. McMaster: Our secretary of state signed a surrender agreement to the Taliban.... This collapse goes back to the capitulation agreement of 2020. The Taliban didn't defeat us. We defeated ourselves.
Your post is so wrong and fully "uninformed" on so many levels it's comical. I thought it was a bad SNL joke. (1) Trump's Plan has milestones. It's a done deal as long as they are met. If they are not met, there is no deal. (2) The Taliban had a requirement of beginning and maintaining negotiations with the current Afghan Government. They started the talks and then quit showing up. Thus, the "Trump Deal" was off. Anything after that point was Biden's 100%. (3) The Biden Administration evacuated the military before our civilians. (4) The Biden Administration shut down the Air Field in the middle of the night with no warning to the Afghan military.... or our other allies. We cut and ****ing ran without warning our allies. Who does that? Now the answer is "America". Thanks for that. (5) The Biden Administration did not warn the Brits, French, Aussies, or anyone of our quick withdrawal, leaving their civilians stranded too. (6) We needlessly left billions in equipment and weaponry with technology we didn't want to share with the Russians and Chinese. Now you know the facts. You're welcome.
That's some incredible propaganda. I wonder who put that fiction together. The Trump Deal had milestones and conditions. The Taliban had a requirement of beginning and maintaining negotiations with the current Afghan Government. They started the talks and then quit showing up. Thus, the "Trump Deal" was off. Anything after that point was Biden's 100%.
Great. Everybody has heard that SAME thing 1000x already. Bottom line: 1) Mistakes were made 2) Hindsight is 20/20 3) Anybody who doesn't like Biden can vote him out in 2024. (Problem Solved) ^Those are The FACTS! You're welcome.
Glad to see you acknowledge that Biden could not have messed this up any worse than was done. Can you think of a way this thing could have been done worse? I can't.
According to who? So then the milestones didn't mean anything.....nor Trump's "deal" apparently. So much for US accountability. "Thus, the "Trump deal was off" ...again, according to who? Stone6 had already put a paraphrased copy of the "treaty" on this thread which you didn't dispute. "The agreement is on the Internet. I have a copy. But, that's OK...I didn't expect you to have it. It's brief...not many conditions...we'll withdraw and return 5,000 prisoners to you, you return 1,000 Afghan soldiers to us, plus don't shoot at us anymore. We won't shoot at you. You agree not to attack us, nor allow anyone else to attack us from Afghanistan and we'll totally withdraw by May 1, 2021. You can work out everything else with the current Afghan government. Nothing about the translators. Nothing about treatment of Afghan women. Biden accepted this agreement...just moving back the withdrawal date. Both Trump and Biden left the Afghans with the choice between a corrupt government or religious fanatics." So what exactly is your argument here The "treaty" was about the military. Your "deadlines" were about the military. Anything else, see post 696 Thank you
You and I are talking about 2 different speeches. I was referring to the English Parliament speech that was posted on this thread.
