You have evidence of any 'Collusion"? If so you should let The Swamp know about it. They've been searching for months but have found nothing.

Of course they've also been looking in all the wrong places.

I was pointing out the difference between Obama and Flynn.
Obama is out giving speeches and Flynn has his bags packed for jail.
The jury is still out on if the Kushi gave Flynn direction.

I’m curious, what would liberals do if Trump said Putin was a liar, when he was there right next to him?
    Would they praise him?
    I doubt that!
I think we would see same news stories everywhere except they would ridicule Trump for being impolite and permanently spoiling US-Russia relationship, at least as long as he is in power.

The man made an innocent mistake in verbiage. End of story.

That's one of the reasons no one wanted him to take the meeting.
But given that he was there, he should have told the truth. It won't get any easier in the future.

No it wouldn’t. It would make everything worse.
Just put yourself in his shoes - he stands there right next to Pootin. A question comes that is nothing but a trap - whether Russia meddled in elections. Trump says no - that means our intelligence community lies and you see today’s headlines. Let’s assume he said yes - mass media would be circulating news articles claiming that trump called Pootin a liar, insulted him and most likely spoiled any possible future contacts.
    What would you do?
As much as I dispise Pootin, if I were in trumps shoes I’d probably have similar answer to his, maybe tried to make it short and try to switch the subject.

We all heard that open mike. But, what did obama do to help Russia. I think he actually pissed them off, with putting weapons in Poland? wasn't it?
    Condemned Putin for Crimea.
So, did he do any favors for Putin/Russia?

So basically, you're saying tRUMP was in a lose lose situation.
    Who called the meeting?

And now he's doing a bit of backtracking, how does that make his credibility any better?

Look, all he had to do was reply diplomatically. For example, "The United States and Russia has things we agree on, and things we don't agree on. Without specifically getting into what we talked about during our summit, both of these were talked about."

He knew what he meant, but he said one word wrong. It happens. Case closed, end of story.

I dont know why they met. But one thing is clear - he should never take questions from mass media when he is in the same room with Russian leadership.

I was wondering if he was prepped for that question.

There was no real agenda, so no one knows why they met. But it didn't go well for him. He lost on the world stage. Credibility is hard to come by. And he lost some of his.

What would Putin do? Take his soccer ball and go home?
Trump had to know that question was going to come up. Well maybe he didn't since he played golf instead of reading his briefs. No. Trump had a choice. He could lie about his intelligence people or he could tell the truth and piss off Putin. What Putin did was wrong - period. Trump knows it and Putin knows it. And now Putin knows he can beat Trump at his own game.
This has become a pattern with Trump. He can't face a adversarial situation. He avoids firing people in person etc..

Well, lets face it, as I heard someone say today, Trump is a stubborn man. He's going to say what he wants to say.

That’s true. I also doubt he was paying attention when he was prepped for the meeting.

In politics you can’t take such approach. Sometimes you avoid answers, sometimes you lie and sometimes you take a beating.
In my opinion Pootin is the biggest threat to the world peace and he turned Russia into a fascist state, yet we need him when we deal with Syria, North Korea and other issues. Personally insulting and humiliating him in front of the whole world is the last thing any US President should ever do.
Trump chose his answer and he is taking a beating for it now at home. His answer wasn’t the worst possible answer.
And you cheering these one-sided news just shows how one-sided your thinking is and how you cannot stop and think about what would happen if Trump gave an opposite answer.

A manufactured and entirely predictable bout of outrage from unhinged Trump-haters who still cannot accept Hillary Clinton's epic loss.

Yep ... but only after the Bush Administration changed the high ranks to those who were willing to follow them.... and then still against resistance of lower ranks inside the CIA.

And isn't it amazing that alone in this forum so many Americans ... with them many Trump followers ... still tell that "no found WMD's does not mean that Saddam didn't have them"?
