    Yet another empty unresponsive post.
That happens a lot when people launch frivolous attacks on Trump.

It was an agency that released it not a person just like all NOAA press releases. They never name a person that released it. They at best leave a contact for further information

in fact, the forecast path did include Alabama. You do understand that - right?

"The statement from NOAA contrasts with comments the agency’s spokesman, Chris Vaccaro, made Sunday. “The current forecast path of Dorian does not include Alabama,” Vaccaro [NHC] said at the time."

You believed a lot of Fake News. Read the truth and try to recover.

"The statement from NOAA contrasts with comments the agency’s spokesman, Chris Vaccaro, made Sunday. “The current forecast path of Dorian does not include Alabama,” Vaccaro said at the time.

Friday’s NOAA statement, released just before 5 p.m., points to a few graphics issued by the National Hurricane Center to support Trump’s claims. The maps show percentage possibility of tropical storm force winds in the United States. "Parts of Alabama were covered, usually with 5% to 10% chances, between Aug. 27 and Sept. 3. Maps on Aug. 30 grew to cover far more of Alabama, but for only 12 hours, and the highest percentage hit ***20% to 30%*** before quickly shrinking back down."

Good question and I can't find any link to the original NOAA release. I can only find cut and paste of it lifted from media sites. Something very strange about that. Kind of like google is hiding the original NOAA document.

As I have shown you, complete with links, they ALWAYS leave a contact number at the bottom of all their REAL press releases, not "at best." No one at NOAA is willing to attach their name to Tramp's fake press release.

Then why can't you cite the HURRICANE advisory that includes Alabama? I gave you the link to EVERY hurricane advisory from NOAA and the NHC.
    Here it is again:

Well it got its name when it started as a tropical storm, but Tramp predicted it would hit Alabama "MUCH HARDER THAN ANTICIPATED" after it had become a Cat 5 HURRICANE. Again NOAA and the NHC never ever gave even one single hurricane advisory for Alabama.

You can ALWAYS tell when the Right know they are WRONG, the conjure up a CONSPIRACY THEORY!!!!
Maybe NOAA is so ashamed of Tramp's fake press release they are the one's hiding it. Now that is a much more plausible conspiracy theory!
Or more likely you are either lousy at google or you found it and there is no contact person for more information because NOAA does not want to touch it with a ten foot pole.

"tropical-storm-force winds from Hurricane Dorian could impact Alabama"

A tropical storm is a meteorological downgrade from hurricane status. If we're talking about tropical force winds, Canada was impacted by tropical storm force winds that were an offspring from Hurricane Dorian.

Thanks for that. It proves that Trump’s tweet on Sep 1 - when he said it was MOST LIKELY that Alabama would get hit MUCH HARDER THAN ANTICIPATED - was the opposite of the truth.

When he sent out his tweet, Alabama was expecting to be “hit” less hard than previously anticipated. If at all.

So now every time a weather forecast is wrong we can claim the weatherperson lied? Yes, this doesn't matter to his supporters, we don't get all bent out of shape over the most trivial things that seem to upset the typical snowflake.

    Haven't you figured this out?

Nobody is saying he lied. He made a mistake. Big ****ing deal. No-one really cares about his original mistake.

What is a big deal is that, in order to cover up his mistake, he doubled down and started lying about it and getting his employees to support his deception. That is a big deal because Americans (actually the whole world) should be able to take the president at his word. If he says something, you should be able to trust it. That is NOT the case with Trump.

Sure, politicians break campaign promises, but even then they should be held to account for it.

It is completely different when they are talking about facts - present or past. It is one thing to make a mistake and then accept it and own up to it and move on. It is completely different to do what Trump is doing - try to cover up a mistake by deception. That's what 7-year-old children do.
