I don't know how Bashar al-Assad's crimes against humanity can shock anyone after he's spent the last several years bombing and displacing civilians by the hundreds of thousands, but these revelations are enough to raise the eyebrows of those who have come to expect this kind of behavior out of the Butcher of Damascus:

Mass executions and mass graves - kinda reminds me of the other Baathist in Iraq.

As I've been saying for years, there are few good actors in this conflict, and Assad certainly isn't one of them. I will add that this isn't a good day for his allies, supporters and apologists in Russia, Iran, Lebanon and elsewhere, either.

I'll be posting more about the latest revelations surrounding the world's worst war criminal, including a link to the aforementioned Amnesty International report...

How come you have not added the US to that list?

    - - - Updated - - -

Alt facts again? 'You' lot were complaining that Obama was not doing enough to help Assad - to be more exact 'you' lot were stating that he was doing nothing

He's only killing the terrorist fighters the Obama Administration armed. No worries.

It's no accident that polio is rampant in certain areas of Syria, i.e., areas that aren't sympathetic to the Assad regime. Dr. Annie Sparrow revealed why in a brutal report she released several weeks ago, and it's well worth reading:

How a UN health agency became an apologist for Assad atrocities
WHO is complicit in war crimes by remaining silent on destruction of Syria's healthcare by government and its allies, says Annie Sparrow

without US help, any uprising would have been squashed quickly, many years ago.
But never pass up the chance to kill and displace millions of non-Saudi loyal muslims.

    We're not backing Assad.

Who, exactly, was complaining that Obama was not doing enough to help Assad? Unless you can substantiate your claim I'm going to have to consider that an alt fact and fake news. ;)

I wish this ridiculous report, solely based on statements from jihadists who supposedly survived the prison treatment, was accurate. Eliminating 13,000 radical Muslims is a good thing.

In any case how anyone with a modicum of intelligence could possibly be Sunni radical Muslims statements seriously?

Al Jazeera has been running this shameless propaganda piece all day long. Witnesses? What a joke. Zero credibility. But of course, Talon swallows it. It's telling. 555

Yeah, that worked out great. Think of all the shrimp we could have put on treadmills for $500 million.

Israel has been calling for regime change in Syria since 1998, but they are not to blame for this.. Assad it.

Of course, Bashar al-Assad's fanboy provides nothing to substantiate his claim.

By all means, show us the background reports on the people Amnesty interviewed, SS. Were the Saydnada guards and officials jihadists? Was the military judge a "Sunni radical Muslim"?

I'm open minded - present your evidence.

I hate to bring it up, but many of the terrorists Obama released simply returned to terrorism. 13000 seems like a lot of terrorists, though.

Why do you care, though? Assad can take out the trash in his own country. What's the solution? Carry on Obama's backing of the "rebels", like these guys who brutally beheaded a bound 12 year old boy on the back of a pickup truck?

I care because Assad is largely responsible for the refugee problem that our "progressive" friends here and in Europe want to make our problem. Remember, it's not just our refugee policy and security services that are a concern here, our lax travel policies with Europe are also a concern. As a former CIA agent pointed out two years ago, Europe's security services are one of our front line defenses against jihadists entering and attacking our country. If they get overwhelmed that's not just their problem. As you are aware, the Hamburg cell set up shop in Europe before it came over here.
