I heard about this, after reading about it, why is it being called racist? I do not understand. If it is illegal to be a illegal immigrant, isn't it logical to check students to make sure they're not illegal? I am not saying it's right or wrong, but if it is illegal to be here illegally how is it wrong to check to make sure people are legal? http://latindispatch.com/2011/06/09/text-of-alabama-immigration-law-hb-56/ I am not saying I agree or disagree with our illegal immigration laws/policies, but I do not understand how it is wrong to check people to make sure they are in-fact legal citizens.
