Nothing in the Brady Act has anything to do with this, so how is thin an 'enhancement' of said act?
Further, how does this meet the due process requirements of the 5th Amendment?

 

I was talking to a 3 year old here for a test today and she has to do active shooter drills. This is America today. Sad.

This is the 22nd School shooting so far this year, so don't everyone get yer Panties all in a bunch, because this is the new NORMAL i America. Everyone runs around all shocked and appalled after one of these mass shootings and by this time next week it will all be forgotten and business as usual, but at least the 2nd Amendment will be safe and secure. Think I'll hop into the Pickup and go out and purchase another Gun in honor of the fallen in Sante Fe. What a SICK! world we've created.

Yep, my daughter did a off-site evacuation drill at their elementary school today. They didn't say it was a active shooter drill, but we all know what they do these drills for. Really sad.

Sad to say, but Schools in America are the new hunting grounds and there are kids alive today that don't realize it, but in the not to distant future will be the victims of another Mass shooting in another school in this country, because some idiot leaves his Guns lying around the house for some mentally deranged kid to have access to. America is FULL! of short memories and no mass shooting is ever going to be awful enough for anything to be done, so every parent in America needs to realize that every time they send their children off to school, it might be the last time they see them alive.

 

Perhaps the Brady Act is not the exact place to make the change, but gun confiscations for emotionally and mentally ill should be something that a larger pool of people can initiate.
