How is Mises' above the radar lol? Sure, he has a lot of supporters, but he's not anything even remotely close to Keynes in recognition - and especially not in the amount of state action based off his ideas. Mises is a member of the radical right and would almost certainly disagree with almost everything the 'two party right' proposes. Starting with pretty much their entire social policy, and ending with the vast majority of their economic.

Anyway, I'm a bit of a political solipsist. First, exclude all about which their can be doubt (ie: everything), and build up from there. How is consent derived from the individual? That's the question we should always be considering when evaluating economic systems. Any discussion of a system leading to prosperity must be secondary to the discussion of its applicability to the individual, since our subjective experience is prior to our societal one - we're all individuals.

Well just as Keynes is a member of the radical left, and basically recommends the opposite of von mises and the Austrian school.
The Austrian school and keyensian are the two main opponents of modern day economics.
capitalism.org has a great intro exactly about the individual, and about austrain school economics, and youtube is loaded with great stuff from peter schiff, tom woods, john allison, and ayn rand about the tenets of the Austrian school.
Now what is really interesting is that completely ignored by all of this....is the Henry George School, or geoism.
After that there are many other economic systems some of which are quite interesting.
An example is the completely import based government financing system of the US constitution.
    Others abound.

Please add the basic income and the robot economy.
Especially the matter on robot economy would be discussed only since 1980s.
