Because people complain about meaningless stuff all the time. What do you think half the posts on this forum are about? What do you think the purpose of this very thread is?

    You are right they do.

Difference is we as a society shouldn't kowtow to stupid meaningless complaints nor should a company face demonetization and defamation for ignoring meaningless stuff.

This thread is NOT about people complaining, it is about a company so afraid of public backlash they remove a logo used for decades over what you are calling yourself a meaningless complaint.

Damn I wish I literally had nothing better to do with my time than complain about what is on a box of tampons.

This doesn't even make sense, which demonstrates that the complaint over the symbol is illegitimate. It's either trollery or mental illness.

The symbol in question has been used to signify 'female' for how long? Trans "women" aspire to be women. Why on earth would they be upset by the symbol of femininity? Is it because it reminds trans "women" that they're not women and never will be?

Maybe companies that make gauze, stitching thread, and cauterizers will do the same thing.

Yes there is. Socially, we have lost our collective minds. Not only do people without mentstral cycles find no issue in being offended, our culture now facilitates accommodating lunacy.

I could care less how P&G packages their product. You are focusing on that to avoid the real issue.

Political Correctness has turned us full on stupid.

    Ah. Now you're getting it.

We should have been fine if it stayed... but it didn't because people complained. And worse, P&G accommodated them.

Except this pettiness was born of the divisiveness, the identity politics, the self-righteous outrage, the virtue signaling, and the SJWing of the far left, which actually does make it political.

It's not just random lunatics ranting about this stuff while the rest of us laugh at them ---- the left is happily enabling and even encouraging this crap.

"Not political enough for this site" hahahaha........ :roflol:

Oh God. Where are they going to put the tampons..... :puke::puke:

Actually that's for the people who identify as men, but have menstrual cycles. After all, we should all know that some men have periods.</sarcasm>

(Don't know how I managed to type that all)

This is for people who think they are "men" but are actually women. So, the answer is the tampons go in the same exact place they go in women who think they are women.

They can use whatever symbol they want. Tampax came up with a new slogan:

"We may not be number one, but we're up there!"

It is not petty in the least. It points to societal rot. California recently passed legislation that requires a certain percentage of corporate board rooms be women (something I disagree with). Men who "feel" like women can now take up all those jobs (because they are now higher on the progressive stack). The end result could be that California corporation boards being 100% men, regular men and men that identify as women. It is a giant loophole that is currently erasing women's sport. There is no reason to believe that this won't spread into corporations and this story is evidence that it already has. Would I identify as a woman for a cush job that pulls over a million dollars a year; probably not, but I am sure there are shysters who would.

Women also cost more to maintain their health care but when Inwas still working in the insurance industry we were not allowed to charge women more for health care premiums. But since women lived longer than men they of course were more than happy to pay less for life insurance.

    Women want it both ways.

Exactly! The term "trans woman" is as rediculous as a "trans human" would be. A dog will never become a human and a human will never become a horse no matter what color ribbon they may wear.

Funny! Speaking in retail marketing terms I think Tampax is positioning itself into the slot where they fit best. You know their corporate comforts zone.
