Americans are stupid if they turn a blind eye to cases like this.

What you dont understand is that swiss nor canadians have a choice, or a percieved choice in the matter. Lol, canadians think their healthcare is free. And i doubt any universal healthcare program has been able to conquer the universal problem in them all, availability of resources. Now, Switzerland is probably the most economically sound places on earth, so resources may not be an issue.

Universal healthcare causes rationing when it comes to serious illness. Its 100% true in canada that you have to wait for 4 - 5 months to get treated for cancer. I cant comment on the Swiss but I can comment on Germany and their system is so bad that it forces people to try to avoid sickness because of the bad hospital conditions.

What im saying is that you must live a healthy lifestyle if you choose not to buy health insurance. Although there are rare cases of people who live such lifestyles and do get sick, thus is life.

What I cant believe is that it seems like you universal healthcare people want to come up with an excuse to NOT need to cover your own risky behavior by investing in your own insurance.

Trust me, there is much more proof on my side of the table considering there is not perfect system, especially when it comes to universal healthcare.

If you have to wait 4 - 5 months to get treated for cancer, despite it being free, your most likely already dead.

No kidding... he is completely undermining how insurance works in the first place. If you insure everyone at the same risk value, you will come up short, thus the reason why universal healthcare programs cause rationing.

I turned a blind eye from it. It was rather easy. Everyone has his or her own sad sob story. What makes his so special? He posted it on the internet and someone gave his problem the time of day.

This case was particularly easy for me to ignore. He's been working for 20 years and he couldn't afford one with a simple premium.
