And what do they mean seek to make them permanent? Thats a load of Bull right there..like common man you buy that? They could have done that from the start. That's them stringing you along.

Provide some proof. Maybe if you stomp your feet really really really hard the information might just pop itself into the forum without any more effort than saying , "No they have not" with no information to back up your argument.

You said , "the rich". Corporations are owned by stock holders. Anyone can own stock in a publicly traded company. There aren't any income requirements.I own stock in several different companies through mutual funds. I am not rich. Totally different. One is a person. The other is like .....l well, a corporation owned by a lot of people. Maybe you should read up on some stuff before you continue this argument.

I already provided proof that the Democrats blocked making the tax cuts permanent. You chose to ignore it. We are done until you figure out what you are talking about and stop posting nonsense.

That is the rebuttal I expected. One that makes absolutely no sense.

The poorest workers' wages are rising the fastest now. Time for them to invest - after every correction. Many Americans left the stock market during the crash years - that was the time to buy.

"Surprisingly though, stock ownership has fallen to only around 52% overall since the financial crisis. This is shocking and unfortunate since the S&P 500 has been marching to new record highs each year. Check out the latest data below."

So you are mad at the right for not making the tax cuts permanent but don't think they should make the tax cuts permanent. Typical TDS type of logic. Like I said, until you start making some kind of sense this conversation is over.

Heh, you get lost very easily dont you, I can see how its so easy for them to string you along. TDS? Nah, I don't support Trump unconditionally like his base, who would despite him metaphorically shooting someone on fifth avenue in broad daylight..You got your terms confused.
Next time you have time, try an keep up.

Dunno where you got mad from either.

Its their money to trickle, spend, invest, hoard, etc. Once the government decides they know whats best, companies protect their cash flow by sending jobs over seas.

If you took all the money in the US and evenly distributed it, it wouldn't be long until the rich were rich again and the poor were poor again.

You don't even know what a tax return is. You're acting like it's part of your income when it's not.

You won't convince me that you believe this. No rational person with their eyes open could believe that the right are the ones who are prone to being violent. How many videos and instances have to happen with trump supporters being harassed and attacked in public before you'll admit this? Lefties attack people over a red hat.....but sure it's conservatives who are violent.

Has nothing to do with employment son. All I said was US manufacturing output has increased.

    Next.

Automation, greater emphasis on higher level manufacturing, offshoring, but foreign companies offshore to the US as well.

Fair enough. Like everything else in economics, it goes up and down.

that the best you got, accusing working class Americans for Trump deceitfulness

and that is part of my income, it's not your income, it's part of my income I choose not to collect until the following year... my choice

Trump changed the rules and did not make that clear to the public and acted like the extra money in their checks was from his tax cuts, that was a lie

yes, and history shows they do not, that is the point, tax cuts for the rich do not cause as great a trickle down as tax cuts for the middle class DO cause a trickle up

You're right, cause the rich rig the game, and they know the rules and have the connections - the rich get richer and the middle class get poorer

why are you so worried about the rich if you think they will get richer no matter what?

What about it. I said it, it is true.

You needed to go back over 6 months to find some statements on a different topic. A thread where the prez's were the topic. So what. Entertainment is the main point of these forums.

Bottom line, in this thread, I never referred to a person or entity that made the foundation strong. And I am quite certain you didn't read those posts from over 6 months ago before hand or remember I even posted them. Hell, I bet you never even read them over 6 months ago.

Do you think the prez has much control on the economy? They have influence, but I'd say the fed res has more control, by manipulating interest rates. Using quantitative easing. Or other tools to keep the ebbs and flows as even as possible.
Who has more control over the economy to you? The fed reserve or the prez?
If you think the prez, just what can the prez do that has more influence?

So, how about your pro? Who is the pro the economy was turned over to? tRUMP?
What has he done to make the economy go better than before he was prez? If that is who you referred to as pro.

I am so honored you would spend so much time going back months and months on posts to find some posts I made.
A little scary one is so entrenched in my posts. But still an honor.

If you got a tax cut you took home more money. That's not up for debate. You're acting like he told everybody they were getting a tax cut but in reality didn't and that's incorrect. If people chose not to go over their withholdings then that is their problem.

An example of a flat out lie coming from a president would be 'if you like your doctor....' But you already know that one.

Also, you still haven't demonstrated that you know what a tax return is. I'm not convinced you do either. At first i thought you were just arguing against trump because as a lefty it's what you're duty is....dont think, just oppose everything. But you are slowly convincing me that you really don't get this whole income tax/tax return thing.

the biggest part of the increase to people checks was from less withholding throughout the year, Trump lied to make himself look better, Trump did not care

you can accuse me of not knowing what a tax return is if you want, all you have is baseless attacks

I was Trump supporter in the beginning, but not anymore, regardless, I call it like it is - you can defend Trump for being deceitful all you want

Hey, you are the one that said that the president didn't make any difference with the economy, after you said the opposite in other post. It doesn't take long if one knows how to use the software so don't be honored or touched. I just thought it was worth a few minutes to point out your double standard and propensity to say whatever is convenient for the present argument. My point is, since you keep missing it, is that the left, including you, launched into the "Chicken Little" mode about how Trump was going to destroy the economy. The left, including you, were wrong, as usual. I can't imagine being wrong so much as the left has been in the last three years. What's amazing is that they just keep making these stupid predictions and actually believe them.

    Lol....this is so great.

Your tax rate goes down which means you pay less taxes.....of course you will have less held out of your check.

If you are paying less total taxes why on earth would you get the same amount held out as before?

And my accusations aren't baseless. They are based on your posts indicating you don't understand how this works.

Trump lied about the extra money on peoples pay checks being from the tax cuts, they changed the withholdings to make it look like the tax cut was bigger than it was ... sad!

your attacks on me are baseless, just shows you know I am right

    What? WHAAT!

No, this is unacceptable. People aren't allowed to make more money or live more comfortably under Donald Trump. We'll just chalk this up as "this is because of obama's policies from 4 to 8 years ago."

    Signed,

    - Democrats
