No. He is abusing the same power people cheered for when it was used for what they agree with. The government should never have more power than you would give your worst enemy. Give them control over healthcare, their rich friends enjoy profits while Americans get even sicker. Give them control over drugs, you get a war on drugs, record profits for their friends in the prison industry. Give them control of our labor and and you get a powerful IRS ready to take your home and throw you in prison if you don't pay.
"The Quinnipiac University Poll, directed by Douglas Schwartz, Ph.D., conducts gold standard surveys using random digit dialing with live interviewers calling landlines and cell phones. The Quinnipiac University Poll conducts nationwide surveys and polls in more than a dozen states on national and statewide elections, as well as public policy issues." It doesn't look like people with jobs, families, or lives are represented in this poll.
As most Americans support the congressional inquiry regarding impeachment that should reveal truths some desperately want to keep hidden, the national climate is not auspicious for the cry baby. Trump, consistently and relentlessly unpopular with Americans, most voters having cast ballots against him, is loathed by many and his only redeeming asset, the economy that has grown for over a decade, may be collapsing.
I don't like him either, but impeachment is bad for the country. The legal grounds for impeachment are shaky at best. I see this as a political move from a party that doesn't care how much damage they cause to gain power.
