"My family had small businesses" - sounds like you didn't. Regardless if your business did not compete with oligopolies - you may not have run into anti competitive practices.

You can work 200% - and still be run over by an Oligopoly.

 

My solution to business failure is negativity seen by those a business hopes to serve (profit from!!!) over a long period of time through repeat business. The grouches and whiners ALWAYS fail. ALWAYS. This applies to every business, every human contact.

In my view the big bang theory is a fairly weak theory based on the observable phenomena. Humanity certainly starts at conception. There is no other species to which you can categorize a human embryo.

 

I suggest you right wingers read the AP article dealing with the makeup of the U.S. population and the declining white of Anglo Saxon descent population of our country. According to the article right now the 16 year old and younger population of the USA is predominantly Hispanic a trend that will only increase due to the low fertility rates of the white population. Far too many white males are shooting blanks.

 

With the rapid spread of Covid in our most populated states, the unhappiness is only going to get worse.
