Exercizing free speech rights is hardly treasonous.

Aiding and abetting the enemy is treason. e.g. the USA helping Islamist terrorists get funding, weapons, and a new safe haven, with chemical weapons in Syria.

When did they determine who was behind this attack, and who determined it?

The common elements in each case were nationalism and patriotism. The propaganda always says to love and serve your country, no matter whether you're talking about the USA, Nazi Germany or the USSR. People went along with something they could have resisted, at least individually and perhaps somewhat collectively. However, human societies have a set precedent of following "strong leaders" to promises of glory, though ultimately to misery and ruin.

We all have the opportunity to know better, for these things are obvious with even a cursory look at human history and psychology. Don't let morons lead you to conflict. Don't enlist and go fight some made-up foe. Warn your children..

Anyone that hates Putin has a problem. The Russian mafias are very ugly there, but they are deathly afraid of Putin, and that speaks well of Putin. Russia also passed a law to ban all gays from any public demonstrations or certainly getting married just recently. They stated it is affecting their birthrate, and they want to keep it a Christian country not bowing to the western liberal agenda. Now we know Obama will really not like that. Next thing we know, he will impose another stupid human rights violation on them, the arrogant ass. You'll just have to take it Obama, they are shovelling it right back in your face! They see what is happening here in America, and they want to start now ahead of the game to stop it in it's tracks. Yes, again , Bravo Putin.

The war games started on the 20th and are to end on the 29th of January. It is the largest war games Russia has had since the break up of the Soviet Union and consists of ships from the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the North Sea Fleet, and the Baltic Fleet. They will cover the area of the Black Sea, the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterrean. I know the seventeen American ships in the Eastern Mediterrean left when the Russian ships arrived so as not to cause tension.

The problem in this part of the world is not Israel or the U.S., it is Turkey. They have the largest army in Nato, and its troops are massed now at the border of Syria. It appears that the areas taken by the Kurds are a threat to them, and the Kurds in Syria are now fighting Sunni troops, which I have to assume are either Turks or closely aligned to them. I read that the Kurds are being supported by the West, and that the Christians in Syria have joined them, so in a way we are fighting a proxy war with Turkey, while at the same time supporting them with the patriots. Sounds crazy doesn't it, unless the patriots and the European troops are there to make sure Turkey doesn't find some excuse to march into Syria.

At the same time, there is a proxy war going on between Turkey and Iran since there are professional troops helping Assad that are either Iranians, or Syrian Shias that were trained in Iran. This of course is a major threat to Israel.

In the Aegean, Greece is going to be declaring its EEZ (exclusive economic zone). They need the money desperately, and Europe needs the gas and oil desperately. Turkey has threatened to invade Greece if it declares its EEZ in the Aegean, and has convinced Libya, whose EEZ borders on the southern part of Crete, not to come to an agreement with Greece. Erdogan has also persuaded Albania, whose EEZ borders Greece in the Ionian, not to come to an agreement. Albania now is also threatening to attack Greece should Greece declare it.

The EU, US and Russia all back Greece the same way they backed Cyprus when it was threatened by Turkey. Russian ships and Israel jets moved then in support of Cyprus, and this show of strenght by Russia, might also be so Turkey could back off. It seems to me the actions of Erdogan and Devotoglu his foreign minister, are reminiscent of Hitler pre WWII so one can only wonder just how far Turkey will go.

It is common knowledge that HATO ie the USA in conjunction with the Saudis, Turks Qatar, etc. are attacking Syria.

In US law, when a gang of persons commits a crime and someone is killed, they are all guilty of the killing.

Durandal, the peasants of Russia and Germany had no choices.

But the people in the US did have a choice, and they chose to believe lies, and then rush off to fire bomb their relatives in Europe. 50,000 US airmen died in suicidal attacks to burn up German cities, as well as French cities and Swiss cities.

All sides in the conflict commit terrorism and atrocities, and also blame each other. That's why this attack could have been either.

You seem to know which side did it, so I'm asking for details about that determination, by whom and how.

MOSCOW, January 26 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s armed forces are ready for a major war, Chief of the military’s General Staff Col. Gen. Valery Gerasimov said on Saturday.

“No one rules out the possibility of a major war, and it cannot be said that we are unprepared,” Gerasimov said, speaking at an Academy of Military Sciences meeting.

Good for them! NObody likes to get caught with their pants down.
I wonder what "major war" they are anticipating?

Indeed. The hostilities between America and Russia have been progressing, tit-for-tat, as usual.

My guess is the imminent invasion of Iran once a path is cleared through Syria.

    Yes, very likely.
I just read that Obama is still resisting the bullying from Netanyahoo. But the Israeli militancy is such that the political elite "appear" to have the power to mobilize whenever they are ready.
Imagine, war breaks out and nobody shows up! omg:)

Attacking Syria Would Mean War With Iran...
that's what the Iranian leadership said this past Saturday.
My guess is, Russia would join in on Iran's side. All three are allies.
    So, better watch out, Bibi!

Besides, what is all the fuss about? Iran is not even thinking of building a nuclear bomb!

Ivan there weren't that many American deaths, and to be honest, we were just following the British. Not that it excuses what we did to Germany, and you were right, we should have known better. As for the British, human life was cheap to them...even when it was their own people.

A Russian General said that two European nations are enemies of Russia. I tried finding the article but to no avail. I wonder if he means Germany and Poland? They are traditional enemies of Russia, and I know the Poles are the ones that want the missile defense system. It is stupid on their part, because if there is a war, they will be the first to be knocked to kingdom come.

Russias main problems though is in the Caucasus and its Turkic speaking Muslim population. I read that Turkey has united its army with that of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbijian and that would constitute a direct threat, since Armenia is closely allied with Russia, and I believe Armenia is still in a state of war with Azerbijian. :confuse:

Israel is always in a survival mode, so it befriends whoever it can. Its friend was always Turkey until Erdogan and Devotoglu decided they didn't need Israel and its lobby anymore, and decided to attach themselves to the Arab states. Because of this, Israel became closer to Russia. They made amends and have ceased to be enemies.

There were certainly no 50 000 US suicide pilots who flew missions into Germany. I have never heard of such a thing!

True is, that the American people didn't want a war against Germany. They were friends and did a lot of trade with each other.
Ivan is right, though, about a certain elitist group who desperately wanted the Americans to go to war against Germany.
