Uh...it's gone because the fascists came in and got rid of it?

And no, it's not socialist. It's a capitalist mixed economy, and while it's doing bad now, they still have the tenth highest quality of living in the world and the twelfth largest economy.

So? It was still Yugoslavia's golden age.

But the socialism works. They just need to institute democracy.

Norway is not a member of the European Union.

The two "vanished regimes" were successful until they were stomped out, libertarian socialists in Spain by fascists and Tito by NATO.

China's socialism is successful, which is what we're talking about.

Norway is NOT a "tiny, nothing nation." They are SIXTEENTH on the Global Competitiveness Index, they are one of the biggest financial contributors to the UN, are founding members of the UN, NATO. They have the fourth highest per capita income. Outside of the Middle East they have the highest oil production in the world. They also have the highest Human Development Index ranking in the world and the highest Democracy Index.

A SOCIALIST COUNTRY IS MORE DEMOCRATIC THAN ALL THE CAPITALIST NATIONS IN THE WORLD, including us!

Lol. You didn't even know Norway wasn't part of the EU.

First, where did I say Norway was or was not in the EU? Norway WILL fold with the EU.

China is a communist nation, not a socialist nation. They finished the journey through socialism into communism long ago. And dictatorships are not successful. They are totalitarian governments. Sophomores don't understand the difference.

And the socialism vs capitalism question was a trick and you, as all socialists got it wrong. The only answer is socialism is a form of government. Capitalism is a type of economy. China for example is a communist country with a hybrid capitalistic type of economy.

And with this mindless inane, naive, and hopelessly ignorant statement:

"A SOCIALIST COUNTRY IS MORE DEMOCRATIC THAN ALL THE CAPITALIST NATIONS IN THE WORLD,"

I have to put you on IGNORE. I can no longer insult my brain by trying to drag it down to your level of nonsense and naivety.

No, they won't. They are not connected in any way to the EU. What evidence do you have?

If they were communist, they would have eliminated capitalism and gotten rid of their central government by now.

Every source out there that knows anything about economics will tell you they are market socialists.

Wrong. Socialism is economics just like capitalism.

Don't let the door hit you on your way out.

The only reason any European nation is having trouble is because they implemented conservative austerity measures, they cut spending.
Taking money out of an economy is the best way to kill that economy.
Why can't you cons admit to that? saint ronnie raygun did, spending like a drunken sailor is how he showed the small recovery that he had, bush the failure tried it and of course failed. He was so stupid he spent our money overseas thinking it would help here!
hell he bought your votes for $250 bucks then went on TV and told you to "go out and spend it" because......."the economy needs the money"
    Don't you remember that?

Cutting spending the way the conservatives want to do will destroy our economy just as it has Europe's.
It's happening right in front of your eyes!!!
    Why can't you see it?
