PLease clue me in on this 'lay low and wait' strategy. I'm in Wisconsin, and I see no indication that Walker is being anything less than out in public constantly aggressively pushing his agenda - and winning.

If by 'baggage' you mean "afflicted with flaming and completely ineffective liberalism", I agree. If you mean something else, I would like to know more.

First Law of Coup d'etat: If you (politically) strike a king (or Governor) you MUST (politically) kill him.

If Walker wins on June 5, he is invincible.

    Wisconsin right-to-work in 2013? Vouchers?

Are we to hold our breath till Krugman comes out and endorses Walker?

Isn't it cute and nifty how toddwv is able to insulate his opinions from scrutiny by requiring any assault on his preconceptions to originate from people with whom he deems he had previously shared a commonality?

There's a word for people who cannot think on their own, and require someone they already trust in order to present an opinion that they'll then believe.

Well, I'm just going to say the truth: Good job Walker.

The estimated negative costs of this union stuffing, as posted in this thread, are way lower than the estimated positive savings. Thus lending points to the Republican argument that the government takes out more from the private sector than it gives back in return.

So, will the people get lower taxes from this we can only hope. Who knows what other debts from the recession they have to pay first?

I live in Wisconsin. Ads are starting to come out from Gov Walker and from his opponent, Barrett. I've heard many. Almost all of Walker's ads are on how well his plans have done to help Wisconsin jobs, debt, etc. NONE OF BARRETT'S ADS CONTRADICT THESE DECLARATIONS OF WALKER'S.(that is very good evidence that even the LIBERALS realize Walker has been a success). He had a contradictory one for a while, but it was disproven by some federal govt (I think fed anyway) figures that proved Walker right and Barrett wrong. Since then I have heard no ads from Barrett refuting Walker's good record. Every ad I remember from Barrett has however, been a personal attack ad. Every one. Accusing Walker of some things that are almost embarrassingly phony.

I have heard one negative ad period, from Walker, and every other ad has been nothing but about his successes as Governor, and how Wisconsin is doing better.

I think the Wisconsin public is learning something about the liberal "way".

Half the nation gets their news from the pro Obama lib news media and they will never hear about Wisconsin's conservative success.

I sure wish Californian's would. It's time for another tax revolt in CA and I would find it most fitting that the same Governor would be in office. 30+ years ago Jerry Browndoggle was Governor when the people passed Prop 13 as a state constitutional amendment.
