You mean most decent Americans BELIEVE we had a free and fair election. We haven't had a fair election since we had elections. The Electoral College is a sick joke, the programming used in electronic voting machines is proprietary and not open to verification but open to hacking, Citizens United vs FEC is corruption personified and some voting laws are deliberately meant to skew the vote, among other sad farces. And not to mention the fake exclusive 2 party chokehold meant to provide the illusion of choice.

Then lower taxes for an elite few. And higher prices for everyone.

Then don't participate - no one's making you. The EC is a variation of how other countries elect their leaders, very close to the U.K. method.

What do these idiot protesters think is going to happen? If they hurt enough people or they burn enough streets to the ground, that America will just replace the President because these losers didn't get their way?

    How stupid are they?

And we have Mr Obama, largely to thank for probably THE most racially divided country I have witnessed since the 60's.

And my money is on the bikers by the way, should the "anarchists" wish to push it.

you bring up a couple of valid points, unfortunately a couple of invalid, imo too.

But to the valid, the 2 party chokehold was legitimately challenged with the Tea Party, and the left mainly, and the right to lesser degree chose to ridicule it as being akin to the green party nutjobs.

And before you can offer the argument that the Tea Party was nothing more than an extension of the Republican party,
I argue that although it was conservative leaning, would not any affront to the two party chokehold have to be top heavy one way or the other? There are basically only two ways of looking at things through political prism, liberal or conservative, that's true in any democracy throughout the world.

And I would further argue that Donald Trump may be the closest thing we will ever see to "neither" party. And again although he leans right he certainly has a host of differences with the republican party too. In fact they resisted him almost to the point of running him off.

So, let's give the man a chance, we get to do it again in 4 years and round and round we go, again.

Yes, I see many people booing and throwing things at the bands and performers during the event.

If someone tries to attack or throw something at Trump, I'll lose no tears if they are taken down---or out.

A word to the wise to any anti Trump protesters, there are going to be a lot of middle America Gun Toten, God fearing Americans there to celebrate what they deem to be a very passionate victory. Choose your battles wisely. Peaceful protests will probably be tolerated by most. But I wouldn't want to be BLM placard holding loudmouth in the middle of that crowd. Think before you act.

Non sequitur. Whether I participate or not and whether I'm being made to or not has nothing to do with what I posted.

Ditto. How does that change what I said?

WE don't have much of choice, as I pretty much alluded to, unless WE do something about it. I personally am not inclined toward fascism, especially given my family background. Corporatism is fascism and the man is a billionaire surrounding himself with billionaires. What class do you figure this is going to favor at the expense of what class?
