Obama was an idiot, he couldn't stop the world from using fossil fuels, so his answer, kill production in the U.S.! The smart thing to do would have been to take advantage of foreign markets like the trona industry does. How stupid are you to punish a viable industry like NG, Oil and coal when they could be sold on the open market to countries that are going to use them anyway and the upside is putting Americans back to work and not on the bread line!

One other note, Obama could have tethered Putin's balls by simply cornering the European NG market and taking away Russia main source of revenue, plus releasing all those people from the stranglehold Putin holds over them! Then again "Smart" was never his strong suit and just one of a hundred exaggeration meant to please the lemmings. In this case, Perry is perfect choice and Trump is miles out front of Obama when it comes to utilizing our resources!

We are worried about that. There are tens of thousands of them coming here. You should see the huge Toyota headquarters going up in North Dallas. 4000 employees coming here to freedom and prosperity. No beach, but you can make a nice living and you can buy three or four times the house you could afford in California.

The only problem is some of them may bring their statist, anti-freedom, pro-big government attitudes with them. Hope we can assimilate them and bring them back to reality from the indoctrination they suffered in California. Maybe being able to buy gas for half price or buy a 3000 sf house with a yard for less than the cost of a small condo in Cali would make them see the error of their former thinking.

Now I could be the chair of the IPCC and if I were asked "Are you sceptical of alarmist global warming claims" I would probably say yes given the claims made by right wing sites - especially sites like Faux news who will deliberately inflate alarm just to generate interest in the story

But being sceptical of Alarmism does not mean being sceptical of the science
