Well if he hated white people his suicide would be a rational, philosophically correct act. If every white person who wanted white people to die out would kill themselves, they could die living up to their ideals.

I get it, my opinion is rough but it does not change the fact the he offed himself leaving many in pain that will last a lifetime and one of those in pain right now is his daughter.

How does a 11 yo reconcile this? Birthdays, Holidays, graduations, marriage, grandchildren all without a father and grandfather.

 

You're right, not good. I don't know what his relationship was with his daughter after he and her mother broke up.

I understand what you are saying and I am happy that you take your parental responsibilities so seriously and that you have that kind of empathy for others. However, I am not sure why Anthony was so despondent that he took his life and really feel sad that this intelligent, talented and educated gentleman is no longer with us and really sad for his daughter along with all those who loved him who must be devastated by his death. All I can say is RIP, Anthony, and thanks for the memories.

 

He wasn't a sick character, and the OP has a profound history of despising anything multiculturalist. I tend to agree with Brew on quite a few things, but not on this. Bourdain was a worldsman. He was the last true great bohemian of our age.
