I believe Maccas in Australia uses Australian beef which is free ranging.

Do a bit of research on the Australian beef industry in the north of Australia (where most of our beef comes from) where the animals run wild in the scrub for upto six months at a time.

Most of these beasts are Hereford/ Brahman crossed. Hereford for the meat to size ratio, Brahman for tick and drought resistance.

That doesn't mean our beef is hormone free, or free of other crap. A friend of ours is a vet, and when asked he told us you would't want to know........
But better walking around in grazing land as compared to a life in stables.

Still, to harpoon whales is from the 18th century, so a very weak show from the Japanese. Those are mammals, and they deserve to be treated with dignity.
Slit them open, still alive, what an unhuman and barbaric act!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You haven`t missed much, eating poosy isn`t what it`s cracked up to be, although the Chinese do a tasty lamb sweet & sour with it.

The fact is we all know that there is never any scientific research when it comes to Japan. Never will be, either.

You know, the only reason you know about the whale population is because of Japanese research.

    Utter tosh!!

Organisations like WWF have produced good data on whale populations.

Here is one from Australia from the Southern Cross University.

Japan hasn't produced a single peer reviewed scientific paper regarding whale research.

    Great response...not

While there are some species that should be saved due to small numbers there are others that CAN be fished.

Again you show your lack of understand on the topic and just spuke the fist greenie slogan that came to you.
why not. They are a food source and should be treated no different to other fish. When we go to get fish and chips most "flake" sold in aust is shark. The key is to fish according to the numbers, when a species is starting to thin down move on to something else.

Even if there were 10 whales left, the Japs would still hunt them down and kll them. You know it, I know it, and they know it.

Its a shortened version of Japanese, and is easier to type. I am not being offense - I am part Japanese myself and I don't see the word as being offensve. The word '*****' is offensive though.
