The Constitution clearly says about equal protection under the law.
Race based discrimination is not an equal protection.
I just checked dictionary the word equal has only one meaning
Are you trying to say that for white people word equal means something different then for black people?

    You posted an observation.

    And.......

Why is this the case, this wealth disparity if you merely look at the color the people's skin? We know there are LOTS of wealthy successful people who are black. We know it is possible for black's to become more wealthy that the average white.

But you only looking at the aggregate numbers.

Could it be because one aggregate group more than the other:

Does not take as much advantage of the free education offered

Engages in a highly disproportionate amount of crime

Has abandoned the traditional nuclear family and almost 80% of their children are born out of wedlock creating single mother households

    Disproportionately abuse drugs and alcohol

Does not seek and hold long term employment

So it is OK in your view for the government to engage in unequal treatment under the law based on race? It is OK to support and encourage one race over another?

Yes as we have seen ever since the civil rights era and inspite of all the privileged government programs and wealth transfers schemes and free everything when given their EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY and failing to take advantage of it we see blacks lack of success deemed "oppression" and "white supremacy".

No, what I said is that it is constitutional for the government to take actions that don't treat people equally if there is a serious objective for which there isn't another known remedy. Such remedies are quite frequently judged by the SC, as they get to decide.

For example, we do not tax people equally and we do not give aid to people equally.

Issues at colleges are a little different, in that they have an objective related to quality of education. Though some rely strictly on some test score when selecting their student body, that is mostly because of the size of the task. Schools that can, work to create diversity in a number of different directions - students from different regions, from outside the USA, from poverty, from different ethnicity, roughly balanced by gender, etc., etc. Having students from very different backgrounds can lead to higher quality education, as they interact with each other in the classroom.

Now, we have idiots in congress telling universities how they may select students!! How could that possibly make sense?

I have got it. U.S. Constitution permits corruption, and you are trying to justify that.
Definitely corruption helps to achieve political goals.
    Thank you for confirming.

You really do not see the difference between racial discrimination and taxes.
Racial discrimination is illegal by the way.

There is nothing going on that could POSSIBLY be considered corruption.

Helping those who are sick, are unable to work, who are working, but where income is less than a living wage, etc., is exactly what Jesus calls for.

Plus, that has nothing to do with race.

    What bull.

Do you SERIOUSLY think Jesus was ready to allow the infirm to starve to death?

In Matthew 25:31 to end, Jesus says that for his followers to fail to search out and aid the poor, criminals in prison, those in hospitals is going to be "rewarded" by hell.

    This is total idiocy.

Jesus absolutely did NOT say that the sick, the infirm, the aged, should not be helped on the grounds that they are not holding down jobs.

In fact, in Matthew 25:31 to end he told his Christian followers that if they weren't seeking out those in poverty, in hospitals, in prisons and supplying their needs, they would BURN IN HELL.

Jesus also did not say that those who work should be compelled by the government to give the fruits of their labor to those that will not work.

    This is a silly argument.

Jesus didn't whine about how people ended up in the poor house - he said you need to find them and give them aid.

Also, let's remember that there hasn't ever been a government where those governed weren't required to contribute to the government for the activities of that government.

Yet, we don't see Jesus complaining about that. He wasn't a tax revolutionary.

Jesus said to freely give to people he didn't say to be coerced by authority.

You liberals don't give a damn what Jesus said anyways. You only try to use religion to try to smear people with

No, the majority of Democrats are Christian - just like the majority of Republicans are Christian. It's like 65% of Dems vs. 72% of Repos. Plus, Dems tend to include more who believe in god, but not as biblical protestants or Catholics.

Today, our population doesn't allow for serious poverty to be reduced by one on one donations.

That's really funny because 99% of the people I see bashing Christians are Democrat.

They won't speak ill of the pedophile prophet though.

Yea, but then there are a lot of Republicans that claim they are next to God, and yet behave in ways that puts the lie to that.

In fact, in this thread we've seen MAGA level Republicans claim that Democrats aren't Christians.

Hypocrisy can be found in anyone. No one is perfect. All of us hate to admit it but no one is and any politician damn sure isn’t. There is no one way to rule a population as vast as ours either which is why we should revert back to constitutional authorities only and give states their power back

Way off topic but I just thought I would add my 2 pennies

I'm sure the devil would be extremely proud of the judgment that the typical Christian bashing Democrat likes to Levy upon Christians.
