Which ones do you disagree with? I see all the crap you came up with for the right, but I don't see you debunking any of the lines I came up with for the left. Other than "My fee-fees!", I can probably find a leftist who has said something like or exactly what I posted in my list. Several people make it a policy to attack "the rich" on a regular basis on this forum.

p.s. Who the hell is Jhina?

Your points are just regular talking points from right wing media, which are to reinforce the typical "my side good, your side bad" kind of thinking and enhance the divisions in this country.

Let's just get to one point that is often made by the right (and in your post by you):

The right: Like facts, logic, truths, etc.
The left: Like to bend facts

I counter that the right is based PURELY on emotion, mostly negative emotion like fear, dislikes, hate etc.

-Fear of the other(s) not like them
    -Fear of the new
    -Fear of losing guns
    -Hate for paying taxes
    -Hate for the "moochers"

This probably sums up 90% of emotions that underly Republican policy.

See how this kind of caricature of the other side works when applied to your side?

Why don't you list your agreements with the other side of the aisle, the topic of the thread, instead of yet another one of your typical attacks on the left? Oh, wait, I reckon with your partisan blinders on you don't have any agreements with anyone who is not a far right wing hack.

I am a democratic party hating progressive so everybody these days is on the other side of the aisle, but in the spirit of the question, there are two issues I tend to agree with some conservatives on.

I am an environmentalist and I am pragmatic so I think conservative conservation efforts regarding pollution are far more practical and effective than the democratic party obsession with parts per millions. I have a conservative friend who periodically yells at me for not recycling more of my trash. For them, recycling is a practical thing they can support. The reason I don't recycle some things is because it ends up in the landfill anyway so no use wasting gas carrying it to the center when it will be picked up with the rest anyway. I just happen to know what recyclables in our area end up in the system and which ones are collected but then trashed because there is no market for them.

I also am more inclined to agree with at least their complaints about welfare programs being loaded down with willfully unemployed people and dead beats because of dealings with many such people and that our poverty rates have largely been stagnant for longer than I have been alive. If we want to address poverty, we need to change tactics because the current ones aren't working.

I disagree with every single one. Why don't you disprove mine?

    And to answer your question,

Okay, I will see your caricature and raise you facts: EVEN IF the Right is based purely on emotion, the reality is that the policy prescriptions of the Right work, while the policy prescriptions of the Left (based purely on what feels good) fail. Communism fails, capitalism works. Welfare fails, moving people off of welfare works. Raising taxes fails, lowering taxes works. Nationalizing and regulating industries fail, privatizing and deregulating industries work. Gun control fails, arming citizens works. Here's a sop for the left: Drug control fails. I'm not yet in favor of legalizing drugs because I think they are a menace to society, but let's face it, drug control doesn't work one damn bit better than gun control does. (Or vice versa, if you're the left.) Corporate subsidies (a favorite of both Republicans and Democrats but not the Right) fail, the free market works. Government intervention in the marketplace fails, laissez faire works. Rule by judges fails (to resolve anything peacefully), rule by elected representatives works. Diplomacy fails, war works. Shall I go on?
