    I AM in the majority - your denial of reality is not my problem.
    There are not 1000 seats in congress to lose, and if it were not for jerrymandering, the GOP would not hold the house, as Millions more votes were cast for Democratic representatives in total.
    Enjoy your sunset - demographics will render the GOP extinct.

    Farm belt areas get much more welfare but they vote Republican who want to end their SNAP program. Not very smart of them but that's the way they are.

    But my party has taken over 1000 seats from the democrat party, Hillary Clinton is NOT in the White House, and someone is still a bitter old man.

    Not so much as I am sick of democrats screaming and flailing about every time Trump does or says or tweets something. They have gone from the boy who cried wolf to the boy who just cries all the time.

    Well, the bellyaching on this thread is fun to read.

    But I just want to remind: Trump's woes are SELF-INFLICTED. He cannot keep his mouth shut, he MUST troll, especially over twitter, he is full of vengeance and hatred, and everyone now knows his game. And other world leaders are having absolutely none of it. His jig is up.

    Pulling out of the Paris Accords and therefore breaking our word in front of the world is just another example of his utter stupidity. That agreement was 15 ****ing years in the making and the first agreement ever where so many nations, with the support of big businesses, partook.

    China is accountable for 20.09% of emissions in this world, but China is also 20% of the worlds population.
    the USA, on the other hand, is less than 5% of the worlds population, but accounts for almost 19% of the emissions.
    You do the math for yourself.

    Trump has turned the USA into a pariah state and no one with any sense in his or her head will take us seriously until that scumbag is voted out of or removed from office.

    I will say it again: Trump's wounds (crappy health care bill that will never see a vote in the Senate, a tax bill what will already die in the house, Russia Russia Russia, stupidity over Inauguration crowd sizes and the size of his electoral win, lying about 3-5 million illegal immigrants somehow voting last fall, trolling people on twitter, for starters) are all SELF-INFLICTED. No Democrat did this to him. He did it and continues to do it to himself.

    Poor Trump. He really is not the brightest bulb on the tree.

    The sad truth is that day after day millions upon millions of Americans are becoming enraged beyond controllable means. This rage may not end until something truly dramatic happens, it is not a good foundation for peace and following the rule of law. As Trump bleats out yet another insult to our allies and the world, the rage we feel here is being generated abroad. Trump seems to love making his enemies mad. He is incapable of understanding the concept of win-win, his world is zero sum only, he has to win at all costs yet his view of a win is transactional, he has no clue about the longer term and seems to be bored with anything beyond the next tweet. We are entering very dangerous waters here.

    Trump wanted Comey to ARREST reporters who were writing things he did not like. That is indeed an attempt to silence free speech (and the press). It is also a hallmark of: fascism.
