This is my data set. I know to add the numerical values into column A for the Bin but what do I put in for column B? Here is my prompt a) Present this data as a histogram. b) Find the 5-number summary. c) Find the mean and standard deviation. $45,768 IN $52,267 NE $52,472 SC $47,680 AK $66,254 IA $51,505 NV $51,722 SD $49,380 AZ $48,995 KA $53,541 NH $67,848 TN $47,530 AR $39,945 KE $43,953 NJ $73,973 TX $49,086 CA $58,327 LA $42,886 NM $42,240 UT $52,286 CO $58,849 ME $51,372 NY $56,556 VT $55,819 CN $73,458 MD $69,695 NC $47,112 VA $61,309 DE $60,352 MA $68,701 ND $51,020 WA $57,478 FL $49,461 MI $55,778 OH $51,966 WV $40,827 GA $49,745 MN $62,538 OK $44,508 WI $55,780 HI $63,813 MS $39,319 OR $51,011 WY $54,935 ID $46,586 MO $50,819 PN $53,680 IL $60,387 MT $44,958 RI $58,978
My only prompt is to show that median income data as a histogram, to find the overall median and standard deviation.
Actually I take that back, I misunderstood your question. Yes, I need 5 different ranges between the 50 states so I imagine that I would divide them into 5 groups of 10 each then chart that as a histogram but how to organize them is the tricky part....do I put all the lowest in one group and all the highest in another?
