That's odd because the tax reform law passed cut every single bracket's income tax rate. The biggest benefit going to the middle class, lower middle class and poor....largely because of the EIC.

Now there were little increases after the drastic cuts throughout the 80s....but never, not even close to the level they were under the prior Admin

The only real area where people may be impacted are in states with high state taxes as you can no longer deduct state taxes against your federal earnings which we should have NEVER allowed in the first place. Why should Texas have to subsidize high tax states like New York and California for federal income tax? I assure you that if this tax policy would have been around for decades, states like California would still be a conservative state to this day as people would have not voted for the reprehensible tax policy they have today!
