    I think you totally misunderstand the Constitution. But that would probably be a specific discussion for another thread, wouldn't it.

    Funny. Now the Left is against paying for security of government officials?

    You're in favor of paying for just about everything else.

    It's not just the SCOTUS. Federal judges have been speaking out and asking for protection since the Capitol riot Orange Jesus incited.

    One judge's son was killed in his own home two years ago. IIRC, he was about 7 years old. She has asked for more protection for judges after a former Wisconsin judge was killed in his home last week.

    We just had a person driven by left-wing rhetoric who actually was planning to murder a Justice...

    And now you have a high ranking Democrat saying that they don't want to protect the justices. It's a perfectly logical conclusion. But then again it's logical so maybe you don't understand it.

    There's no doubt AOC would be supporting the bill, not blocking it the SCOTUS had a majority of liberal justices. With ultra-partisans, ideologues like AOC, it is all about political ideology. Nothing more, nothing less.

    Kava needs to harden his house.

    AOC has a point. Why does Congress rush to pass a bill to protect a politician (or a judge), but won't pass one to protect school kids. Aren't people supposed to oppose such elitism?

    you can say anything you want about the constitution, but the founders had no problem prohibiting slaves or indians from owning firearms.
