I think showing people that guns can be respected by kids is a good thing. More people should teach their kids to respect guns rather than fear them.

He was just taught proper gun safety by three border patrol agents, that gun belongs to them. Before buying my kid a gun we both took the NRA safety course at Fort Bliss.

 

The picture of my kid in the Santa outfit is almost done with his hunter safety. I’m excited to hunt with him as well. It’s a great pastime

 

So if the kids got cell phones and a picture was taken of them holding up the phones, would that be considered as "glorifying cell phones"? What if they held up an X-box? Glorifying X-boxes? What if a kid got a hunting knife for Christmas and a picture was taken? Glorifying knives?

Kids holding their Christmas presents isn't glorifying their presents.

Of course you would feel that way because you seem to dislike guns. For others, it isn't reveling at all. Many youngsters start hunting in their very early years, and are members of cohesive families who spend their time in the outdoors - great parents and great kids. Firearms happen to be a part of that - again, not reveling in the "power" of guns.
