If the left was really serious about global warming then all of the 60 million people who voted for Clinton (likely global warming believers) should immediately stop using their cars and air conditioning for 10 years and then we can measure the effects it had on the climate. Of course, as with most liberal fears, the solution is for everyone else to suffer, pay more and make sacrifices, but not them.

BTW, the only way we can say the climate is wrong is if we knew what the right climate is supposed to be. Does anyone know? Of course not.

When all is said and done, humans, due to their weak links of the willfully ignorant and the greedy pigs do not deserve the stewardship of any planet. Our time here deservedly should be numbered as we have proven (thanks to the POS that I referred to) to be nothing more than parasites feeding off of the Earth.

What day can we expect you to surrender your car, air conditioning and all other global warming devices?

You realize the "greedy pigs" and "parasites feeding off of the Earth" and their families will die too don't you? Besides 95% of all species on earth are now extinct, why would Man be any different? Considering 65,000 years ago the Earth was warm enough that herbivore Dinosaurs were living 1,200 miles from the north pole. What makes you think that same warming isn't happening again?

Do you want them to move to your back yard?

    I don't think so......
one option is to deliberately invest in turning deserts green.....
    lower sea levels.......
so that they can stay where they are.

The Sahara Forest Project...and saving New Orleans and Florida from rising oceans!

Is turning deserts green a good response to climate change?

    1. No, only a carbon tax of some form will stop climate change!

Libs / Progs are so selfish and self absorbed, they'd actually prefer extinction to obscurity. If they can't captain the ship, they'd just as soon sink it.

Actually... if had not been for the deliberate use of the Global Dimming Effect..... he might have turned out to be correct.

The ash, soot and dust from industry.... act the same way as a major volcanic eruption ......
they cool the climate and delay a general global warming trend........

Dr. James Hansen has admitted that Global Dimming confuses the whole question.... .cleaning the atmosphere up too quickly could result in a rapid rise in temperatures.

For the three days after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack, while planes were grounded......... eliminating only one source of Global Dimming.... temperatures across the continental USA rose by 1 degree Celcius....

I think its time for me to buy a big ol' boat like Victor Strand had in Fear the Walking dead. I will learn from his mistakes and keep the cute chick off the radio so we're not taken over by pirates.

    Sound Logic?

98.2% of scientists state the arctic region gets cold. The other 1.8% were looking at falsified data.

I love it when people use phrases like "... are not and will never be".

Is this what is in your computer, car, cell phone?

    Europe’s CO2 Emissions INCREASE While America’s Fall

The EU adopted carbon credit trading and we didn't. Our emissions fell while theirs rose.

If the ice melts and sea levels rise, man has to adapt. If this takes thousands of years it's no big deal. If this takes hundreds of years it is a big deal.

Great! In 12,000 years we will again have green deserts. In the meantime...

    (From your link)
The planet is already suffering from some impacts of global warming.
    • Ice is melting worldwide, especially at the Earth’s poles. This includes mountain glaciers, ice sheets covering West Antarctica and Greenland, and Arctic sea ice.
    • Many species have been impacted by rising temperatures. For example, researcher Bill Fraser has tracked the decline of the Adélie penguins on Antarctica, where their numbers have fallen from 32,000 breeding pairs to 11,000 in 30 years.
    • The sea level has been rising more quickly over the last century.
    • Some butterflies, foxes, and alpine plants have moved farther north or to higher, cooler areas.
    • Precipitation (rain and snowfall) has increased across the globe, on average.
    • Some invasive species are thriving. For example, spruce bark beetles have boomed in Alaska thanks to 20 years of warm summers. The insects have chewed up 4 million acres of spruce trees.

Other effects could take place later this century, if warming continues.

    • Sea levels are expected to rise between 7 and 23 inches (18 and 59 centimeters) by the end of the century, and continued melting at the poles could add between 4 and 8 inches (10 to 20 centimeters).
    • Hurricanes and other storms are likely to become stronger.
    • Floods and droughts will become more common. Rainfall in Ethiopia, where droughts are already common, could decline by 10 percent over the next 50 years.
    • Less fresh water will be available. If the Quelccaya ice cap in Peru continues to melt at its current rate, it will be gone by 2100, leaving thousands of people who rely on it for drinking water and electricity without a source of either.
    • Some diseases will spread, such as mosquito-borne malaria (and the 2016 resurgence of the Zika virus). Ecosystems will change: Some species will move farther north or become more successful; others won’t be able to move and could become extinct.
    • Wildlife research scientist Martyn Obbard has found that since the mid-1980s, with less ice on which to live and fish for food, polar bears have gotten considerably skinnier. Polar bear biologist Ian Stirling has found a similar pattern in Hudson Bay. He fears that if sea ice disappears, the polar bears will as well.

Do you have any evidence that the people living around LaGuardia airport in Brooklyn NY are liberal progressive loons?
Do you have any evidence that the people living along the coastal strips of the Clearwater beaches are liberal progressive loons?

Yeah. I saw your earlier responses. Terms like "so-called scientists" make it hard to differentiate between sarcasm and "serious" posts by RW nut jobs.

    Very interesting indeed!

This sure seems to indicate that legislation......
in the hands of bureaucrats and politicians.......
and lawyers with a background in the environmental sciences.....

might not be the most trustable group of people to
    give more legislation to.

That is actually kind of amazing so I decided to begin a thread with this article!

A theory that is based on the effect that plants have on
the environment should indeed be put forward by a biologist.......
rather than by lawyers with a background in environmental sciences
who have so much to gain from new legislation and new taxes.

Every cubic meter of ocean water that is desalinated and added to the
water table of a nation in the Middle East, North Africa, California or any
nation with lots of desert..... is good news for the residents of New Orleans
    and Florida.

We now live in a time period when President Trump and his team could take a look
at the brilliant monetary policy initiated by Canada's Prime Minister Mackenzie King
back in 1940 that worked great until 1974..... when of course a politician..... had to go
    and mess it up.
