Don't you think Iran is too much exaggerating the hate of US ? Sometimes I wonder if all of this is real ?? Let me explain my views : Iran uses religion to control its people and even people from the outside Iran is too much exaggerating the hate of U.S. , too much threats but no action I live in an arabian country and let me tell you ... people who have the same doctrine as Iran's (Shia'aism) love iran so much, they praise it too much especially when they start threatening Israel and this gives Iran an advantage, it attracts people toward them. So I wonder if both countries are doing this for their own good ? Especially if you take in mind that they have common goals. I'm not saying they are "friends" but I don't think they are "enemies" What do you think ?
Older Iranians probably haven't forgotten what the US did to their country in the last century. The positive thing is that 60% of Iranians are under 25 and are much more progressive than the clerics who they routinely taunt. But they're both breaking the law. Iran is lying about it's nuclear program and the US is breaking the UN Charter by constantly threatening them.
I think the average American has great sympathy for the Iranian people, and most Iranians have neutral to positive opinions to Americans. It is when you look at each countries government you see the sort of things the media likes to play on

Actually Canada is the one that keeps me up at night. They are on our border, speak the same language (mostly) dress the same which means that they have unlimited potential for spying and indeed once in awhile I will encounter Canadians reconoitering down here in the US although they always come here under the guise of "vacation" or for "work". Also, just like how neighbors always describe the serial killers, Canadians are said to be nice and keep to themselves. The most alarming thing is that they have been quietly amassing their numbers along the border for in invasion at some point. Virtually all Canadians live right across the border. The question is why and there is only one clear answer. They are up to something....
And never mind that we're slowly infiltrating your nation. Soon, you'll be eating poutine and playing hockey 24/7!
That's ok, if you read my post history I still think we should annex you. Although I've reconsidered that, you may end up being the least socialist country in North America in the next three years, I may seek refuge there... Then I'll join you and we can annex America together...
