Which explains why all of the gods, including the Christian god, have the exact same shortcomings as mankind.

 

Science does not have all the answers and some of the answers it does have might be wrong. However the STRENGTH of science is that it is SELF CORRECTING so if anything is determined to be wrong it is replaced with what is right.

Too bad the same cannot be said of religions and gods.

THIS Atheist (I do not speak for others), sees Religion and Gods as an early coping mechanism for the Human Mind that served a valuable purpose in our development. As our understanding and knowledge expanded the population and societies are switching to a more reliable and useful form of dealing with life and focusing instead on science, technology and reality to remake our world instead of making excuses for inadequate knowledge.
