So you have nothing I take it. Nothing at all? Can't name one person who converted to atheism on his deathbed? No one in 4000 years of human history? Not one?

Many people have converted under fear of imminent death. That's not proof of anything.

"Demographic research services normally do not differentiate between various types of non-religious respondents, so agnostics end up in the same category as atheists and/or other non-religious people"

No they didn't. In fact they refuse to show episodes 200 and 201 because they can't show them uncensored with Mohammad in them as they wanted to do originally. Comedy Central censored the image of Mohammad in not only that episode but also the 2 part episode "Cartoon Wars" which is specifically about the concept of censoring Mohammad.

What do you say when the enemy is shooting at you? Do you say:

    "Charles Darwin!" or "Jesus Christ!"

    "Non-existence!" or "(*)(*)(*)(*)!"

    "Nothingness!" or "Hell!"

Right, which proves that atheists are claiming a victory that isn't there.

I do not become an atheist if I skip Mass on Sunday. I do not become an atheist if I skip a lifetime of Sundays.

Agnostics are just either gutless atheists or chicken(*)(*)(*)(*) believers.

You talk about Christianity and raping little boys?

Catholic charities have done more good around the world than you could possibly imagine.

BTW- Do you have any idea how many children in public schools are sexually molested each year?

    http://www.childmolestationprevention.org/pages/tell_others_the_facts.html

So where is your outrage over that? no where because you hate religion and are scared of it.

What? Humanity is not defined by religion, it's but one aspect. A lack of belief doesn't put a people back in the stone age. Atheism is not human worship either, it's the lack of a belief in a god or gods. I fail to see how not believing in a god/gods would lead to the worship of multiple gods and human sacrifice.

Hammurabi wrote his laws in stone two thousand years prior to the writing of the bible. its laws were not based on faith, but common sense and morals (although it did contain sections specifically dealing with religious laws). And it makes a hell of a lot more sense than most of the bibles laws.

you don't need jebus to be a human being.

There is no way you can prove this claim one way or the other which is why it is so mind numbingly stupid.

Do you really think that someone who is a religious person their entire life is just going to stop being religious right before they die?

What does it matter? I say "Jesus" and "God (*)(*)(*)(*) it" all the time. They're phrases and nothing more. It's not like I got shot at and magically I believed in God; it doesn't work that way.

Which of course puts man at the pinnacle of society, which often leads to very very bad things. It is obvious you don't understand the point of religion and wish to portray it as simply believing in Gods.

Man is at the pinnacle of society at all times. If God exists God doesn't interfere with humanity. Simply because someone claims to have been appointed by God or have Gods ear does not make it so. The fact that the bible was written by man shows, again, man being the pinnacle of society. Religion has been used by men for power for ages. Even if God exists Gods lack of presence and willingness to allow its worship to be abused by men to the point where God has no real effect means that man is the pinnacle of society. Since this is already so, I'm not seeing the issue.

You need to separate the actions of fallible man from the tenets of religion.

I will guarantee that if you live a religious life, in the end if there is no God, you will have lived a good life. Religion is the education of experience.

The religion of peace and pedophilia scared Comedy Central and South Park into submission. Anyone with balls would have aired it.

Right. Well, before this thread took a turn for the incredibly stupid, I would like to say that this article makes some pretty good points. The worst thing about the Christian religion is not that they believe but that they believe they can force their faith onto others and codify it in law.

And if you have lived a Christian life and then it turns out that Zeus was the one and only God....Hades for you my friend.

HOw? I am a catholic, show me where I have forced my faith onto others?

Have you ever seen the middle east? Have you seen the muslims cutting off heads of people who dare to not be muslim? Have you seen how they treat women?

And you sit here saying that is the worst thing about the christian religion?

People living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. While we look at the Middle East and remark at the blight of the Muslim woman, Europeans watch in amazement as religious institutions are allowed to discriminate and ban contraception coverage for women and they remark at the blight of the American woman.

Are we living in denial because we don't believe in Pegasus or in werewolves?

Gaming theory would dictate that you believe in God as the giving the best outcome.
