Atheists are SUBJECTIVE thinkers, who need permission from scientists, before believing or thinking about ANYTHING! Here's a proof. Long ago, humans didn't know much about astronomy or cosmology, the rotation of the planets or the sun. Atheists would not have believed other planets existed, without the approval of a "scientist". Atheists don't believe in common sense. JUST LOOK up at the night sky, see all those stars??? Atheists need approval from scientists before claiming that stars exist. There's lots of planets in the universe. There's more than just several in our own solar system. But what do atheists believe? They believe that planets don't exist until we can see them. See all that darkness in the universe? Before telescopes, none of them existed! That's what atheists think like. Atheists need to invent telescopes to "see" all the planets, before believing them. You can't just BELIEVE and KNOW, using your common sense, that the universe has millions of planets and stars. You have to wait from approval from a scientist, first. That's how atheists work. You can't believe anything until a "scientist" approves of it. Atheists want to replace TRUE CHRISTIANITY with science, but, they act like many foolish religious believers. They need "permission" before believing in common sense. How sad is this? Atheism is a defunct religious cult, on its last legs, and clearly intellectually inferior than Theism and TRUE Christianity.
I second this. When it comes to Heretic's posts, aside from what appears to be a chronic disconnect from reality, I also get to read about what happens when you take religion to the extreme. His posts serve as a warning to us all, regardless of the subject, that extremism rarely coincides with rational thought and logic.
OP corrected Religious people are SUBJECTIVE thinkers, who need permission from false human idols, before believing or thinking about ANYTHING! Here's a proof. Long ago, humans didn't know much about astronomy or cosmology, the rotation of the planets or the sun. Religious people would not have believed other planets existed, without the approval of a "religious leader/wizard". Religious people don't believe in common sense. JUST LOOK up at the night sky, see all those stars??? Religious people need approval from wizards before claiming that stars exist. There's lots of planets in the universe. There's more than just several in our own solar system. But what do religious people believe? They believe that planets don't exist until the pope says they do. See all that darkness in the universe? Before telescopes, none of them existed! That's what religious people think like. Religious people needed to persecute Galileo for proving through science how our solar system worked, even AFTER he let them see through the telescope for themselves. You can't just BELIEVE and KNOW, using your common sense, that the universe has millions of planets and stars. You have to wait from approval from a religious wizard, first. That's how religious people work. You can't believe anything until a "wizard" approves of it. Religious people want to replace REALITY with childish thinking, but, they act like many foolish religious children. They need "permission" before believing in common sense. How sad is this? Religion is a defunct religious cult, on its last legs, and clearly intellectually inferior than Atheism and TRUE Objectivism. fixed: a lot of spelling errors
People have their suspicions but if it is an act he will never show it. Every post of his is just as disconnected from all reason and logic as this one.
Your arguments are filled with so many logic holes, I need not respond. Simply reposting your ignorance for all to see is more than enough. Although yes, in my life, i have absolutley 100% replaces religion with science. And it has worked out great for me.
Christians are subjective thinkers, based upon what they read in the Bible and learn at Church. To be subjective is to be human, and Christians are not immune to this any more than any other group.
Has anyone built anything complex (i.e. an automobile, a house, etc.)? The amount of effort involved in building something should not be dismissed as trivial. I find it amusing that some intellectuals "THINK" that random order is to create extraordinarily complex organisms. I am highly suspicious of organized religion, however, I haven't seen an atheist PROVE anything mathematically or even logically. It's all John Kerry 2004 presidential politics. Whatever he did was incorrect.
Subjectivity is not the essential human trait. Volition is. Volition makes both subjectivity and objectivity possible.
First of all, scientists do not believe that life is random. There are rules in which it plays by. Take a look at this fractal: This complex shape was created by just some mathematical rules. As for atheists having to prove anything, they don't. If the theist is making the assertion that there is a divine being that created the universe, the theist has the burden of proof. This is the same as if I said that I am God. Would you just take my word for it? There is no way you could disprove it since anything you do I could just say that I intended for that to happen. No, again the burden of proof is on the one making the assertion.
Any rational person should require scientific proof before claiming that something is a fact for sure. If thats what you mean by belief, then the atheist logic is correct. Even if something really is true, belief without evidence is a sign of a delusional mind. Belief without evidence is not a virtue, but a vice. If by belief you mean that something is *likely* to be true, then you dont need scientific proof to think so. As an example, I believe in aliens, but I am not 100 % sure.
Confirming our objective and market based reality is not the same as asking for permission. Besides, how many people have asked for permission from even a god, to accomplish what they claim?
