Atheists in heaven, gays in the Boy Scouts, its the end of the world as we know it

They can always ask their Church. . . I'm sure that, for some hyper religious hypocrites, this option would be more acceptable than two men, or two women in love wanting to marry!

 

Just because some have engaged in homosexuality, doesn't make it natural.

Nature also gave a VERY LIMITED time for procreation . . . So are you telling me that, once procreation is no longer (or just isn't) possible, people should stop haing sex?

And are you telling me that any form of pleasuring one's partner that doesn't invlove penetration into a vagina, in period of fertility, is "unatural and sinful?

You do realize that this would make 90% of all humans "unatural and sinful,". Don't you?

It's funny watching the social conservatives melt down because people are being accepted for who they are. Hateful, spiteful, judgmental people those social conservatives. How they can be in charge of anything is beyond me..I just don't understand where it all comes from. I think they really need to take a look at themselves and ask if they really want to continue to be hateful people or if they can just get along with others and not freak out because they're gay, atheist, or whatever.

That they have always been there?

That a group which brings lots of teenage boys together for fairly unsupported camping trips is just ripe for teenage sexual exploration.

This is what is so comical about all of this denial- my friends were all boy scouts 30 years or so ago- they smoked their first dope in the boy scouts, they tasted their first alcohol in the boy scouts and one had his first sexual experience.

Frankly for a teenage homosexual in the 1970's it was the place to go to be with boys.

 

The Boy Scouts has dealt itself a mortal blow. Most of the Boy Scout troops are affiliated with churches and you're going to see a mass exodus. I hope the libs are happy -- you've destroyed another great American institution.

 

But that's not true.

Homosexual acts occur within nature yet are not natural.

If the premise "everything that happens within nature is natural" were true, then the meaning of the word "unnatural" would be meaningless.

And something cannot have meaning and yet be meaningless at the same time.

 

It's too bad that blind hatred of homosexuality is why they would be leaving.

 

So because these people are "delusional" and the know this because clearly the scriptures, right wing leaders and church leaders are on the bleeding edge of natural science, they refuse to associate with them, call them names, fight to maintain or add laws that blatantly discriminate against them... I'm sorry I just don't believe you at all.

Any reasonable person OUGHT to be concerned about the effects of dehumanizing other human beings, but not all are capable of or willing to perceive reality beyond their own personal experiences and visceral inclinations. That indeed is worth lamenting.

I figure those given to homophobic thinking would deny the reality that "gay" boys and men have always been a part of the organization. They should have acknowledged and accepted the same, long ago.

They had to change sooner or later, just as most "churches" eventually will. That is part of the reality of living in this existence. (Things change.)

 

Certain sexual acts may be socially unacceptable where human beings are concerned... but that does not actually make them unnatural.

Please, explain why that would be so. Or is it that YOU and others would limit the definition of "natural" to things you prefer or approve of?

I'm no great philosopher... but the weakness in your 'logic' is very obvious.

 

That kind of thing is why I know that "homophobia" was a term that needed to be 'coined'.

 

I mean you are free to have your opinion, but I just wanted to clear things up ... I don't think all homosexuals are molesters.
I do think that putting homosexuals in charge of a bunch of young boys does increase the opportunity, but it certainly doesn't mean they would start molesting the scouts.

It isn't all or nothing ... Well maybe for the Homosexuals it is ... At least the way they are going after everything.
