I've always thought Secret Service shouldn't be granted to ANY candidate until that one candidate is elected president. Maybe that candidate then would be able to learn to defend for themselves then, maybe take up a pointer in martial arts, (or quite simply, ducking your head to avoid a flying object). Hiring Secret Service for just a candidate is really a fat waste of resources.
