LOL... and I thought you'd say, "China".... So, in your mind.. it's fine if the US implemented a social media filter on allowing folks in. Got it.

Unfortunately they do not play it sufficiently. Engaging in tolerance for intolerant views was what liberal Germans did and by the time they realized their voice would never be heard, tolerance was dead. Likewise when tolerant people said a few years ago on boards, 'oh you must listen to my view and not call it racist or people like me will get worse' and people became tolerant and listened and as we have seen over the past few years intolerance has grown and grown. This woman has at last discovered you cannot end intolerance by tolerance.

We don't want to make the same mistake as in the 1930's

So how did you think it was about Israel hypnotizing the world and not Jews? Especially when talking about Jewish money and Jewish loyalty.

And yet the leftness calls most on the Right racist. Reagan, Poppy Bush, Bush Jr, and now Trump.

Have you noted that pattern of the leftness? Republicans, Congressman, Senators, Governors, and Even Red States. Even Policy. Even a Wall as racist.

    But their tolerant, huh?

Yes, I believe a government has the right to block individuals from entering their country - don't you? In light of the NZ tragedy, his comments were not welcome in Australia. Just days after 9/11, would the US be interested in admitting someone for speaking engagements who suggested that it was the fault of the left for mollycoddling muslims? Would that be helpful in the healing process? Would it assist in bringing about justice or would it simply create more division?

I do believe in freedom of speech - but I believe the speakers have to understand that their speech may not be welcome at certain venues or in certain countries. Milo is learning this, and whining about it on social media.

People on both sides of the aisle should denounce the fake concept of "hate speech". It's sole purpose is to silence unapproved opinions. It's a kinder gentler form of totalitarianism, but totalitarianism none the less.

So, then, you don't believe there is such a thing as 'hate speech'?

Hmmm. America let Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the then President of Iran, come to America to speak; and with light years more justification for keeping him out than Australia has for keeping Milo out.

Now, I would have supported America
keeping the butcher, Ahmadinejad, out because he has committed acts of war against America, and is still violently committed to her destruction; but not because of what he wanted to say. Which was: American sucks; Iran rocks. That’s just ludicrous, not dangerous.

To fear a man’s words is to confess intellectually bankruptcy.

It's a fake, manufactured concept designed to silence dissenting opinions. That is all.

That's the tactic that is used to keep the southern border open to illegal immigration. When any and every attempt to stem the flow is deemed RACIST!, the totalitarians don't have to bother about arguing the merits.

I'm not interpreting fear in their decision. Just a desire to keep hate speech out. If he were an Australian citizen, that would be a different matter - but he isn't. So why shouldn't they have the right to keep him out?

Spot on, except for your take on illegal immigration.

The simplistist way to solve the immigration problem is to quit arresting people for wanting to live.

I don’t think citizens who want to stop illegal immigration are racists for wanting to stop illegal immigration. I think some are thoughtlessly ignorant, some foolishly ignorant, some fearfully ignorant, and some just plain ignorant.

"Hate speech" and "free speech" are one-in-the-same. Codifying "hate speech" in our criminal code is both a violation of "free speech", and a violation of "equal justice" under the law. It is a tool of the left to impose their singular agenda upon all.

Judicially, it shouldn't matter if it's a black-on-white assault, a white-on-black assault, or a same race assault. All are an assault, and all should be adjudicated equally.

If this man’s plan was to incite the Progressives into more repression and oppression against the Conservatives to spark a war between Christianity and Islam, Australia is helping him to succeed.

Poor Milo, he's a homosexual but horror's, he's a conservative one which means he's deserved of all punishments due them regardless of his sexual preferences. So much for freedom of speech.

Then you're saying that the establishment doesn't pander to and mollycoddles extremist Leftism and barbaric alien religious cultures. If the establishment doesn't pander to them, then why isn't Milo allowed into Australia? :confuse:

I fear the world is a place in which the free expression of thoughts is no longer tolerated. Only language approved of by the government is allowed. I wonder if any nation will stand in the way of the death of free speech?

I am reminded of a quote...

“If the political culture forbids respectable politicians from raising certain topics, then the electorate will turn to unrespectable ones” – Mark Steyn 2014

    This sums it up

“free speech for me but not for thee.” – Journalist Nat Hentoff

“A law that can be directed against speech found offensive to some portion of the public can be turned against minority and dissenting views to the detriment of all. The First Amendment does not entrust that power to the government’s benevolence. Instead, our reliance must be on the substantial safeguards of free and open discussion in a democratic society.” — Justice Anthony Kennedy, in Matal v. Tam, 582 U.S. ___ (2017).

I got a one week ban from Twitter for saying that "Muslims kill in the name of Islam. They cut your throat. Barbaric."

So in the future, I want to use codewords for Islam, Muslim, Jihad ect.

"Alien religious cultures" should have been substituted for "violent political cults".
