He agreed to the conditions of return when he left the country. He was made extremely aware that he'd have to quarantine. If he hated the idea of quarantine, don't leave the country.

Do you believe citizens should get to decide the law all by themselves? Should I get to say what the speed limit is on the roads I use? I've never killed anyone with my car, or even caused an accident. Why should I be held to the speed limit when the only reason is something bad may occur?

He's not in prison, he's not in a labor camp, he's not in Auschwitz. The hyperbolic language is getting exhausting.
